Took 4 day to get feedback "use triple antibiotic ointment and it will resolve on 5-7 days"…read more It's already been 6 days and it definitely looks worse. Please don't go here for laser. I've been to 5-7 different medspas around the country and have never had something like this happen to me. I'm not sure what type of machine they're using but this is NOT okay or normal. Lack of communication and inability to talk to someone by phone is NOT okay. Day 1 was welts and some burn marks Day 4 was noticeable scaring, extremely speckled look Day 6 no improvement after days of hydrocortisone and aloe application and 2 days of triple antibiotic ointment application Maybe if I had gotten direction to start triple antibiotic ointment on day 1 when I first made outreach it would've been different, who knows

Unfortunately, my experience with this business fell far below expectations. During my initial visit, the dietitian met with me and weighed me but informed me that an instructor would call to follow up -- that call never happened. As someone who works in healthcare and insurance, I also question the repeated statements made online suggesting that food is "free" and entirely covered by insurance. In my experience and professional understanding, this is not accurate or realistic, which raises concerns about transparency and how services are being presented to prospective clients. I had planned to pick up meals for a five-day trial. When I later informed the team that I could not come as planned, I received a brief text saying it was "too late" -- a response that felt unprofessional and lacking in basic courtesy. Since that interaction, I have received no further communication from the dietitian. I have also noticed numerous online reviews that reflect similar concerns about communication, professionalism, and follow-through. There appear to be multiple comments that may be AI-generated or promotional in nature, which further calls into question the authenticity of some of the positive feedback. For example, several reviews reference individuals or staff (such as "Sam") that were never introduced to me in person, and text communications have come from multiple numbers, which was confusing and unprofessional. Overall, my experience indicates poor communication, a lack of organization, and discrepancies between online comments and real-world service. Based on this, I cannot recommend this business to others seeking professional, patient-centered care.

I especially appreciate that if you have follow up questions, Dr. Okoro will call you to respond and she does so in a timely manner. They have great COVID measures in place to keep everyone safe. One bit of feedback I have is that if they expect patients to call/text to let them know they're there, they should answer the phone. I waited a good while before someone answered the door and completed the prescreening to let me in. Outside of that, the staff's super friendly, the facility was clean and easy to find, and parking wasn't an issue.

I have been a patient of Dr. Okoro since 2019, when I lived in Allen, and I want to start by making…read moreone thing very clear: Dr. Okoro herself has been an outstanding physician. She is down-to-earth, attentive, personable, and has taken very good care of me over the years. I have recommended her to others because I genuinely believe she is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff and overall communication has become increasingly disappointing over the past few years. I am not someone who typically leaves negative reviews, and I have overlooked previous issues because of how much I respect and appreciate Dr. Okoro. However, there comes a point when repeated poor communication and a lack of consideration for a patient's time can no longer be overlooked. Today was ultimately that point for me. I had a virtual appointment scheduled for 11:20 a.m. By 11:30, I had received no link or communication, so I reached out to the office myself. I was told that Dr. Okoro was running behind, which I completely understood. Doctors run behind, emergencies happen, and schedules change. My issue was not the delay--it was the lack of communication that followed. I continued waiting with no link and no proactive update from the office. By after 12:00 p.m., I still had not received anything. Had I not contacted the office myself, I have no idea how long I would have continued waiting. I was eventually contacted about changing my appointment, but at that point I chose to cancel. I have a professional schedule, meetings, responsibilities, and commitments just like everyone else. A patient's time should be respected as well. What makes this especially disappointing is that this was not an isolated incident. I have experienced similar communication and scheduling issues before, and even people I have referred to the practice have expressed similar concerns. When I first became a patient years ago, the office was smaller and the communication was excellent. I cannot speak to what has changed operationally, whether it is scheduling, staffing, or patient volume, but the difference has been noticeable. After several years of trying to overlook these issues because I genuinely love my doctor, I have finally made the difficult decision to find a new primary care physician. That is unfortunate because Dr. Okoro is truly a wonderful doctor, and leaving her care is not something I wanted to do. I would still highly recommend Dr. Okoro based on her ability, bedside manner, and the care she personally provides. However, prospective patients should be mindful that communication and scheduling consistency with the office staff have been an ongoing concern in my experience. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken constructively because an outstanding physician deserves an office experience that reflects the same level of professionalism and care that she personally provides.

I was lured in by the radio ad! How about you?…read more There were six points of contact, and no one ever mentioned that there was a $55.00 consultation fee!! Not when I made the appointment, not in the confirmation email or two text messages, not when they called to confirm my appointment or when I arrived. The 10-minute video they had me watch said there were no contracts and no hidden fees. So imagine my surprise when they asked me to pay a $55.00 fee on my way out the door. I paid it, but I was mad. A manager called me within a few minutes and said there was a consultation fee, but because it was never mentioned to me, she would refund that fee, and she did. The Red Mountain program is similar to what is already out there. The weekly check-ins and counseling are the most expensive parts of the plan (similar to Weight Watchers), in my opinion. They counsel you on how to eat, but there is no buying food from them ( not like NutriSystem). They do promote and encourage you to buy their smoothie mixes, array of vitamins, energy shots, etc. I've completed and lost weight on IF + Keto, and twice on Weight Watchers successfully. The common ground is .. calories in and calories out. Most weight loss programs offer food & exercise counseling; some go further with weight loss prescriptions to suppress your appetite or stimulate metabolism. None of them are custom fit unless you go to a dietician. Under the Affordable Care Act, most insurance pays 100% for you to go to a nutritionist/ dietician. Ask your insurance company about this! My problem is a sluggish post-menopause metabolism that won't cooperate. The RM program wasn't offering anything I hadn't already tried. I was only interested in their Boost shot. RM's first impressions are amazing! The building is new; the lobby is large and inviting. They gave me a packet to look over while I waited for my appointment. That was the perfect time to have mentioned that there was a $55.00 fee for the consultation, but they didn't. The receptionist quickly went over everything in that packet, I felt like the packet was very upfront and honest, especially about what it cost. I was called back to meet with a med tech. She was friendly and kind and made me feel very comfortable. First, I stood on a machine that gave a full diagnostic report of my weight, BMI, general balance, etc. Then, she took a few pictures of me. She moved me to another room down the hall and went over my medical history. She asked me to watch a 10 minute video that basically goes over the two plans RM offers. A different lady returned. She went over my past surgeries and current meds. She never emphasized at any point that I would be under the care of a doctor, NP or RN while I was on this program (it's language they use to promote the program). Immediately after watching the video, she wanted to know which program I wanted to sign up for. I expressed that I was already practicing a healthy eating lifestyle; I was only interested in the Fat Burner Booster. She explains they can't provide the Booster Burner unless I sign up for the 3-Step $599 per month program, but I could buy the vitamin shots instead. The minute she knew I wasn't buying a program, she was out the door ... end of visit, even though we were in the middle of a friendly conversation. Honestly, it would save me a lot of time if they had done everything in reverse. Interview in the lobby, go over the two programs, and if you are interested, you could proceed with the diagnostic report, pictures, video, go over your plan and get started. I did not sign up for the RM weight loss program and my review does not reflect if it works or not. I've been on diets like this, and you will lose the weight if you put the work into it -- I can testify to that.

I've been coming to Red Mountain on and off for the past +1 year or so (I have been currently on…read moretheir program since 9/1/2022 - PRESENT). The site is remarkably clean. Their bathrooms are the best in McKinney! They are always super clean and always have a lit scented candle as you enter. The front staff are super friendly and highly competent! (Very rare in the current job climate!) The medical professionals provide a private and professional consultation. Their RM3 program consists of prescription medication and other options that promote weight loss. Their program also has a guide on what foods and portions you are allowed to consume. You know what? IT WORKS! I am 54 and have lost 50+ pounds since I started! I am down to 189 pounds! As long as you stick to the program and go in weekly for the medical weight loss shots/weigh-ins you will lose weight. I'm off the initial "diet phase" and am still losing weight. They make you rethink about every thing you put into your body. It ends up becoming a "religion" but having a realistic dietary program that you can live with once you are off the program is important. The program can be pricey. Then again, you get what you pay for. I strongly recommend anyone who is serious about losing weight to consider Red Mountain. The very knowledge about how your body processes foods and why your body stores and uses fat and protein is worth it by itself! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Red Mountain to anyone. Another item of particular interest is the fact that my PCP loves my results (I have physicals/labs twice a year). My blood pressure has dramatically improved, my blood sugar is insanely lower and all of my blood lab results are very healthy! Red Mountain has not only dropped my fat but it also improved my longevity! Insider Tip: With the exception of their "Rebound Kit" (Which contains patented pills/vitamins to help you stay on course after you exit the program), I would avoid the upsell on their products displayed in their lobby. They are overpriced and you can find most of those products on Amazon (Such as "Miracle Noodles and Rice") for much cheaper! Overall, a very great experience and relationship! -Dave
