We didn't thoroughly explore the food options as we had just had breakfast before our stop, but the other patrons seemed satisfied with their meals - and I couldn't resist a biscotti to go with my coffee. They had about a dozen different flavors and the coconut vanilla biscotti I settled on was definitely worth the calories! Good good and a good variety of specialties. The barista (and I believe owner) was welcoming. Friendly and inviting she made sure to include our dog with a treat. The outdoor seating consists of a couple of tables on the sidwalk but the street isn't terribly busy and Ligonier is far enough off of Route 30 to be peaceful. So yeah, if it's a comfortable day outside I'd gladly drive a half hour out of my way to visit again. My rating scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

Even the waitress seemed surprised by how quickly it arrived. I cut into the burger and it was bright red. Complete opposite of well done. I showed the waitress and she took it back. The next burger did not take long to arrive and was well done. It was also burnt with bacon on it (I had requested no bacon). My husband described his burger just as gross and could only eat half (mac n cheese burger). The pot stickers were okay. The sauce was basically soy sauce with crushed red pepper in it. Our waitress was nice and attentive. She did remove the charge for my burger. I definitely will not be back.

A couple side notes I appreciate. Bittersweet's marketing team deserves. Ton of credit - they have some awesome swag available for purchase. Also, this is a Christian oriented cafe with bible verses, messaging, and music. Love it! And finally, check out the story about Bittersweet's roots, its commitment to addiction recovery/support, and the owner's son's story/passing. The same Iron Star that owns Coffee Tree shops. If this coffee is any indication, I think I need to visit Coffee Tree again. It's been a while. Anyway, I had a really good cup of coffee and a peanut butter and jelly cookie. No complaints on the cookie, but I wish they had some breakfast sweets like scones or cinnamon rolls. Next time I'll try some real food. Just be aware that things are a little pricey here.

They have a huge selection of items to paint and prices and pieces range from around $8 to up to $80. You pick your piece and paint colors and then go to work. They fire your piece and you come back to pick it up in a week or two. Great for something to do with the kids, a date, time with friends or even a fun solo activity.
