I visited here recently and even though the main waterfall was closed due to falling rocks, it was…read morestill 100% worth the trip. We were able to see the medium and smaller waterfalls and I was blown away by how beautiful it was. There are incredible views everywhere you turn with tons of photo spots and scenic overlooks. The trails are really well maintained and were a good easy hike. I also love how much there is to do here beyond just hiking. There are biking trails, horseback riding, and even skiing in the winter. It feels like a park you could come back to in every season and have a completely different experience. There is also a welcome center with a small gift shop and a nature center. You could easily spend a whole day here. I loved it!

If you haven't been to Letchworth State, fix that. It feels like it's out in the middle of nowhere,…read morebut it is worth the drive no matter where you are coming from. This park is great in every season, and we are lucky to have it here. Most people show up for the waterfalls and the views of the gorge. They deserve the hype. The scenery alone is worth the price of admission and a solid chunk of your day. If you stop there, you are missing out. Dig deeper. Come in the winter and see the ice volcano. It feels like something too cool for WNY. Stop by during the hot air balloon festival in the summer and watch the sky fill with color over the gorge. Get off the rim trail and explore the trails that go through the woods. Make time for the less populated side of the park. Fewer people, more natural trails, and no admission fee. It has a completely different vibe and is perfect if you want something a little more peaceful.

Amazing addition to the town of Henrietta! So glad they made sure to have a nice large parking lot…read moreof so many people to be here at once. You have to have a membership to participate in the programs or the open gym and track areas. Membership fees for Henrietta residents $10 a year for adults 18-59, $5 a year for ages 5-17. Membership is free for Seniors, veterans and children 0-4. Non residents are $30 a year for adults and $15 a year for youth, seniors and veterans. Free for kids 0-4. Once you are a member you get a key tag for easy scanning. With so many different programs to do here such as gymnastics, pickle ball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and music classes... your best bet is to check out their website for a listing of activities. Some programs require additional fees. My niece has a blast with the preschool open gym. Only $40 for so much fun and activities. There are a lot of free activities here too, playing basketball on one of the courts is always popular. My favorite activity here is using the upstairs running/walking track. The track overlooks the basketball courts and gymnastics area. Nine times around the track equals a mile. You can also book one of the rec center rooms for your own events, see website for pricing. A nice alternative to other options in the area.

A beautiful facility for all ages. Not meant to be a workout gym, but a recreation facility that…read moreincludes courts for basketball / pickle ball or anything else that's played on a floor. This is surrounded by a second floor track of 1/10 mile with separate lanes of walking and running. There's many community rooms for all sorts of classes offered thru the Chili website and a complete senior center. The new library is outstanding and shares the same building. Unfortunately, there is only one entrance for all the areas. Thus, in busy times, the parking spots close to the door fill up fast and it should be interesting to see seniors having to walk a distance to get out of the snow when winter sets in. There are emergency exits on the side which could be adapted as secondary entrances directly into the senior center under adverse conditions.

let me just say the facility is very nice but half there are so many times where the whole center…read moreis closed. I'm sorry but you shouldn't be closing the entire community center for, it's supposed to be open to the publi. The worst thing if you're looking to shoot some hoops, we'll forget about that it's closed almost every day for pickleball or some other stuff. again I'm sorry but the whole court should not be closed off to people just wanting to shoot hope everyday. I came from Irondequoit where there gym was open almost everyday, even when they had events they don't close an ENTIRE, huge double gym, they just say "hey stick to the far right corner hoop" "sure no problem" this is absurd, I pay taxes and can't even do something I love because it's closed 99.9999% of the time. Like I said you don't need to close off the entire gym just tell people to keep it to one particular hoop, I don't need the whole gym, I understand there are events and such but you do not need to close an entire gym for those. Regretting moving here but my lease is up in the summer and hopefully I'll be moving elsewhere and checking with the community center first. Irondequoit was far better I could go there everyday and shoot, sure sometimes they would say "hey come back at 7:00" or most of the time "just stick to whatever hoop they're not using" and I would always ask with the people playing if it was okay. The worst part is there isn't even any other courts near hear. Hopefully the director sees this and can change some things.
