Music Together of Decatur has brought an infinite amount of joy to my family over the past five…read moreyears! We started with the mixed-age classes when my son was a toddler and continued until he "aged out" of the Rhythm Kids class at 8 (though I'm sure Ms. Wendy would have allowed him to continue a while longer if we hadn't have moved out of the area). Over the years we attended sessions in traditional indoor settings, in senior homes, online during the first half of the pandemic, and then outside - all were an absolute delight. Each eight-week session brought new songs, and each instructor brought her own sprinkle of magic to the material. My son learned about rhythm and movement, tried out different instruments, discovered his musical "voice," and learned a whole catalog of tunes in different styles and even languages. He routinely surprises me by bursting out into a Music Together song from years ago! We have loved, loved this program; it has been a part of our family life and is woven into the memories of my son's early years. I cannot recommend it enough. Music Together of Decatur is a gem.

My 7mos old son is currently taking his 1st music class with Ms. Jennifer. I wasn't quite sure what…read moreto expect; however, I have been pleasantly surprised thus far. Ms. Jennifer does a great job of ensuring baby/parents (+ any additional guests grandparent/nanny) feel welcome & are included in every aspect of the class. The babies/toddlers all seem to love the child friendly songs & accompanying hands-on activities. Ms. Jennifer does an excellent job of smoothly transitioning from one song & kinesthetic activity to the next so that the children remain attentive and actively engaged while having fun. I love the fact that the class comes with a cd/song book so that we can listen to/practice the songs outside of class. Another thing I love is that the class incorporates a variety of musical genres from different cultures - that is very important to me. This is definitely a fun class that I look forward to sharing with my baby every week - money well spent!

The…read morepiano lessons were good, although the teacher showed up late a little more than we would have liked. Our youngster took an acting class, and she was disappointed in this, as were my husband and myself. We never received a taping of our daughter's acting performance so we honestly have no idea what she did during the class. We called and emailed several times, but we never received a DVD. I guess we should have known better since the name of the company is "Key Music Center" and not "Key Music and Acting Center". I recommend this class for music, if you're not time conscious, but not for the acting class.

I was told 300 and called them up to confirm and for an explanation of what to expect. The not so friendly Renee told me the 300.00 included 1 month of lessons for 45 mins each and 1/week reherersal. Fine. How do I pay I asked? "Ummmm..... well you can just send me your info in an emai.....l I guess....."WTF? okay..... No thanks, I will just pay in person when I come. When I arrived Renee wasn't there and apparently neither was anyone else who could process my payment. Not only that -they were not ready for my daughter either and suggested that I take off and that she "hang out" there for about an hour and half with them. She's 8!! ok...... Surely they mean that there are some other kids perhaps in the same situation and they have some activities planned for them or something along those lines. I quickly figured out that was not the case as I watched the instructors skip out to lunch. Since no else said anything else to me I decided to sit and wait with my daughter until they returned and made time for her....A few days later I checked my bank account only to find that school of rock had charged me double. #$%^&*(. And when I called and spoke with the owners Mike and Renee, they cheerfully responded with sarcasm and reassured me again that "WE DONT GIVE A SHIT!!!!!" AND just to make sure that I got the message Mike sent me a cheerful email..with all exclaimation points..that he PERSONALLY DOESN"T GIVE 2 SHITS!!! . My next issue with these assclowns. After talking to my daughter I realized she was not receiving the private lessons I was paying for....so I emailed the owners. Who again treated me with zero respect. Ok, i get it. You are in a prime buckhead location, making money hand over fist and DONT GIVE A SHIT but really...that's just not cool. I emailed Mike AGAIN for my refund and this time he didn't respond with all all excamation points!! hey! Christina! We don't give a shit!!! So maybe I will get my well deserved refund. In the meantime, all the instructors seem nice and my mini me likes coming here..which makes the fact that owners don't care about customer service all the more incredibly frustating.

I booked/rented this space for a single & independent singer. The Owner/Operator -- Pamela-- was…read morenot easy to work with. The first phone call we had, she hung up on me while I was still talking. I explained my needs and she felt the need to repeat what I said as if it were her own knowledge.. She has to have the last word on everything and has to say something about everything. The niceness of the studio space and the price is what encouraged me to follow through. She doesn't know how to treat people/professionals! I would recommend the space with 5 but would have to take away 2 because of the poor social and poor professional conduct of Pamela! Just be prepared to have an assumptive and combative interaction when dealing with Pamela. Everyone else seemed to be more kind and the facility was what we needed!

I have been to Studio Dionne once. It was around September 2011. I have a Groupon-Now voucher for 1…read moreclass ($8). I would give this place 4.5 stars. Do bring: water, wear contact lenses, ballet shoes. Some people wear leotards + tights, others wear t-shirt+ shorts. Just wear what is comfortable for you. Location: short distance to I-85. Parking is extremely tricky. The parking spaces are limited. Facility: super clean, very well renovated. The classroom I was in was a little crowded. I took the Monday evening ballet basics class and I had no ballet experience at all. The instructor was a man in his 30s or 40s. I loved the class, the atmosphere was warm and the instructor was quite enthusiastic, however he is sometimes a little strict in my opinion. I thought the adult basic class is for adults who had no experience and who practice ballet for fun. Most of the skills he taught were quite basic, that was until 30 minutes before the class ends. At that time, he increased the difficulty level, and I had a hard time to catch up, especially since I am not familiar with the french terminology. He did correct the form for the students. Price: For adults, Single Class Card costs $20 and 10 Class Card costs $150. And I do not think they run any deals except for the Groupon-Now deal (which I believe is for new students only). So this place is quite expensive in my opinion. Compare with Atlanta Ballet, Dance 411 and Gotta dance Atlanta: Atlanta Ballet-Adult open division: Pros: $10 (student price) drop in price for a 90 mins class. The instructor I had was very patient. Cons: None. Dance 411: Pros: Runs a lot of deals. The instructor I had was very patient. Cons: Hard time to find a parking space, I had to park at a nearby Chinese takeout each time. They discontinued the ballet drop in class and the instructor was teaching only kids classes now. Gotta dance Atlanta: Pros: Runs a lot of deals. Cons: I took the explore ballet class, and the instructor was not very experienced and not quite patient. I do not recommend explore ballet class taught by Rikki. Also the facility is not as well renovated as Studio Dionne.
