I was looking for a place to take my cat without having to go to Cornell and pay the extremely high price they charge for even walking in the door. I called this clinic because it boasted being a 24 hour emergency clinic on their website and when I called the message just advised me to call Cornell. With this being the case, they should not have that they themselves are a 24 hour emergency clinic. I have not actually been to the clinic so cannot rate the actual service.

And second, my golden is not huge or overweight, but still considered a large dog at 70lbs. The doctor grabs her by the neck and throws her up on the table. I've never had any other vet do that, they always kneel down to her on the floor which isn't a big deal. I didn't realize this was a problem until my husband attended an emergency visit with me. The only reason I gave two stars and not one is because they are budget friendly. So if you want bottom-of-the-line care for a low cost, go here. If you want decent care, go anywhere else.

Simone Yen and this office will never receive a recommendation or a request for service again. $300 for a blood work up and then another $883 for the procedure. This office took no responsibility and made us feel as if this was a lack of communication on our part. This office was notified that our dog was most probably pregnant and they waited a month to conduct the surgery so we could be charged more money. We were put on a wait list for the procedure and they never could fit us in. Knowing very well we were concerned she was already pregnant . I certainly hope this is not the case with everyone, but from my conversation with Simone she didn't care. If we could give them 0 stars we would!!!

I've been to other providers for one reason or another prior to and after selecting ARC, and have never experienced the level of care they imbue. From the receptionist through the techs and the vets. If a member of your family is a dog, cat or horse, and you want excellent care and advice at a reasonable fee, I'd steer you to ARC over the others. You can elect the level of care you need for your pet and even fill prescriptions there, or at another pharmacy. Your questions and concerns are addressed pragmatically and sensitively. ARC is a no-nonsense place that won't play on your emotions, but will offer sensible support and perspective. I'm glad they are part of our community and part of our family's health care.

We had to change vets after a few years of repeat issues. - They don't seem to keep good records of the meds they give, always asking me if I'm still giving a medicine that we stopped years ago, I correct them every time. - We needed blood tests and they took the wrong amount so had to do it twice. - I made an appointment for a bump on my boxer's arm, it was covid times so I had to wait outside. They sent her back with a clean bill of health, I asked about it again and they asked "What bump?" (it was the size of an egg on her right front leg). -They charged me for a yearly checkup again 4 months later and when I called to ask, they told me it was required. - After a year of sluggish behavior and a couple visits, we eventually researched enough ourselves to suggest thyroid, they confirmed with a test and got him on meds - They won't give me enough meds to get me to my new vet's appointment date. So I had to write this review. I hope you have better luck, I'm sure most people are content with them.

Cat sanctuary I tried to adopt from the cat sanctuary it was dreadful to say the least I filled out…read morean application and turned it in and I called the organization to let them know I was interested in meeting a cat they were fostering. She called me three times each call was confusing. The first call was to say there's other applicants ahead of me and that when they were approved they would receive the cat. So I asked if should still drive almost two hours one way to meet the cat if other people are eligible and ahead of me. The lady answer calls took a lot of offense to my question saying I should come meet it even if I won't get it. Also I forgot to fill out one part. I filled out the second part I didnt notice. Second call she told me my cat I have isn't at the vet I provided I explained my cat has always went there and it may be under a different last name. She at this point was just rude tell me it was such an inconvenience to be on hold with my vet for less then ten minutes and that she's already gone out of her way and is "jumping through hoops for me". By calling my vet and doing her job ??? Said I'd need call them and have them fax over the info for my car I already have she was yelling at me cutting me off nonstop. Said my cat wasn't vaccinated. So at this point I gave up she has been nothing but rude yelling at me not letting me speak over simple fixes like resending the application. She called me a third time not sure why said she had reached out to my vet again and still nothing. She then cut me off and said I had been cutting her off, yelling and being disrespectful. I actually began to cry because she was speaking to me in such a rude way. All I had done was try and be polite and work with her. I never yelled at her or was disrespectful. At this point I said I wasn't interesting in adopting anymore. I will from now on avoid the cat sanctuary. I've never been treated like that..
