Best dental office I've been to in a very long time! The caring and customer service is another level. I called today because I had extreme pain in my back tooth and they got me in the same day! The receptionist/ patient coordinator was awesome (Suzie) she walked me through everything. The dentist came in explained the process of what would be done, made sure to give me antibiotics and pain meds to ensure I'd be comfortable prior to my extraction appt. I suffer from dental anxiety but the office gives off a very comfortable vibe and you then can relax. I go back at the end of this month for my extraction and am glad that it will be done at this office. I'll be sure to update after my appt. read more

Dr. Francisco is the best and their staff is pretty dang good-been coming here or actually to a couple of his different locations for years and I've always felt comfortable and it's helpful that the doctor is always friendly read more

This is absolutely the best dental office I have been to in over 20 years. The combination of Dr. Macias and Suzie's care in working with you to get you scheduled quickly and taken care of and on your way pain free and cost effectively is unparalleled. Suzie, Angel and the rest of the staff are always welcoming and genuine. We may not always like what they have to say, but they always have our best interest in mind when providing our services. I am not a fan of the dentist (I mean really, who is?!), but I am a fan of this staff and will continue to come here for the service and atmosphere. read more

I just wanted to thank Dr. Macias, Suzie & Angel for the stellar customer service! It was hard for me to really choose a dentist because of my horrid experiences before, but I'm so happy I found Highland! Not only is the customer service awesome, but they helped me feel confident in smiling again! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND HIGHLAND DENTISTRY!!! read more

Highland Dentistry - Deep cleaning & cracked tooth repair! Woohoo!!! - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Pittsburg, California

Yesterday was my first time ever coming to this dentist and I absolutely loved my experience. Im usually very anxious when it comes to going to the dentist but this place took really good care of me as well as being time efficient. Even went out the way to fix old fillings to make me feel more confident in my smile. Will definitely be returning. As well as recommending to others. read more

Highland dentistry has been my "go-to" for years. The care they provide their patients had me shift my children from their children's dentistry over to Dr. Macias and staff. My husband, who does not regularly go to the dentist is now verbally reminding me that he needs to go for a follow-up (that is highly reflective of the types of experiences that he personally has had with the staff). They do their best with preauthorizations so you know what you're paying before services start (this is never iron-clad, as that depends on your insurance processing things in a timely manner) - and for a family the size of mine, that's a serious godsend. Gone are the days that you get billed for services (since the few bad apples out there don't pay their bills - iykyk) From a business standpoint, they protect their investments just as much as they protect our smiles. We will soon be relocating 30 minutes away but will still be patients here just based on the quality of service and care that they provide. read more

I have to admit I am not a fan of the dentist, but who is? I have to give kudos to Suzi, and Dr Macias, I had a dental emergency in August that I needed to have completed before my surgery date in October, I went to my first appointment and from the first phone call to make the appointment, to the financial part and all the work that I had to have done, the team at Dr Macias office got me in same day, I did call 3 other dentist offices for appointments that I could not get in until late September. Suzi was professional, personable, accomodating and helpful. I had all my work done and had 2 new partials made, cavities filled, and teeth cleaned all within the 8 weeks before my hip replacement surgery. I can't thank Dr. Macias, Suzi and team enough for making my smile more beautiful within my time constraints. read more

Just came from this place and I am so happy with the service! My son fell at school and chipped his front teeth. Our regular dentist is 30 mins away and they were closed for the day. Called this place and Suzie was able to get us in same day! She helped us out with insurance and all that stuff. The doctor and assistant were also very nice! My son was so happy with his smile again! Thank you sooo much!! read more

I highly recommend this business they take great care, and making sure that you were totally comfortable before and while and even after they have done their dental care with you, if you are one of those who are a big fraidy-cat of needles, and all this the dentist in general, highly recommend that you go to these folks, they will make sure that you're totally comfortable and they'll take great care of you! read more

I was real nervous about getting my front teeth fixed since they were a bit chipped. I got recommended by a member at my Job so I made my appointment. The one in charge at the front desk for the billing was absolutely the best! her customer service was excellent and she has a great vibe! I got my teeth fixed today and I loooove how the dentist left them! He did an amazing Job and I couldn't be any happier with the work he did on me! My smile is highly important to me and he made sure I felt good about getting the work done and proved he is a very Good dentist! I highly recommend Highlands Dentistry! read more

I will be the first to say I hate going to the dentist, but I have been in so much pain lately that I was forced to schedule a visit. I stumbled across Highland Dentistry through Google and gave them a call. From the time I called I spoke to the most nicest, caring person named Suzy that assisted me with a next day appointment. When I arrived this morning I was treated so good and wasn't judged for my lack of visiting the dentist. The Dr, Angel and Suzy were the best and I will definitely go again!!! read more

Location was closed when patient had scheduled appointment. Patient arrived before appointment and no one was there, location was closed even though their displayed hours included the time of the appointment. Patient called location several times, no answer, tried calling throughout the day and still no answer. The staff is friendly, but this is a bad example of customer service. If something came up which did not allow then to open, they should reach out to their patients to let them know. I like to have confidence in my dentist as I can be quite nervous during appointments. Even if they apologize and explain what happened I wouldn't feel comfortable going back to them. How can you trust someone to do medical procedures when they can't run a business correctly? I was thinking of trying them out as my primary dentist (I have same health coverage as my friend) but after this, I will not be going there. read more

Last week, I went for my appointment for 3 teeth fillings. I was fearful, anxious and apprehensive. I left happy, relieved and contented with a much brighter smile. Dr Macias' quality of work is impeccable. Plus, he loves karaoke and concerts just like I do :) The customer service is stellar. Suzy's assistance with the financial/admin part was a big factor that lead me to my appointment that day. The dental techs interacted with me while the procedures were in progress. Always making sure that I'm comfortable. For this year, I plan to maintain a better dental health. I am glad I found an INCREDIBLE dental team to partner with! See you in a month. Kudos! read more

Honestly, I never thought I would be writing a review about a dental office because I am terrified of the dentist! But, the staff here is so incredible I feel like they deserve the recognition. I need a lot of work done that I have been putting off because of my busy schedule but I was finally able to take the time to make an appointment. Suzy answered & was really just the most helpful person I've talked to in a very long time. She was so positive & gave me all the info I needed & got me in for a consultation. After the first consultation she took the time to explain everything to me so that I understood the procedures needed & the insurance payment amounts & how much I would pay out of pocket.. everything! There was one day that I was going to miss an appointment for a crown because my sitter for my 2 year old cancelled. So I called & Suzy said to BRING HIM WITH ME & they would HELP WATCH HIM. I actually called my mom & had to tell her about it because I was in tears over how nice they are. The dentist was amazing & made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. He is so kind & always explains to me what he is doing & why it is necessary. Even when my son came with me, he was so sweet to him & talked to him like it was is little buddy. I really can't say enough good things about this office. The entire staff is just as amazing as the 2 I have mentioned & I am so thankful to have found this place! read more

Another great visit! Suzy is always so upbeat, informative and acommading. She goes over your coverage in details so there is never any surprised pricing. The office is always clean and the scheduling is flexible. I definently recommend! read more

I always, always dread and am fearful going to the dentist, however, the staff at Highland Dentistry was very welcoming and made my visit comfortable. They were very friendly and accommodating to my needs and requests. The dentists were gentle while working on my teeth and they were mindful with not giving harsh or 'scolding' me with their feedback/comments on how to take better care of my teeth. I think my husband and I have found our regular go-to dentist place. read more

What an amazing team! I am terrified of going to the dentist (yes, I am a big baby).... but this team instantly puts you at ease, is careful to not cause unnecessary discomfort, and really go the extra mile for their patients! Great friendly staff! Fast and caring definitely recommended! Will continue to use as family dentist

They have been nothing but wonderful to my husband and I. They seem to have a very nice team working who able to work around our schedule and get us in as soon as possible. Noting but amazing greetings and beautiful smiles when we walk in. The doctor was very attentive to us and gave us so much detail on our issues and schooled us on what we have to do in our part and for reference l. We have full trust in this team read more

I usually hate the dentist because I get a lot of anxiety, but everyone at Highland was very nice and understanding and were able to make me feel so much better about the whole experience. I started going during COVID and felt that they were very safe about everything. Highly recommend. read more

I absolutely love this dentist office. The staff are all super nice and friendly and both of the doctors are really nice, down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. Today me and my doctor talked about all the latest movies and which ones were the best to see. We joked, we laughed but most importantly I got my teeth cleaned and I got invisalign at a really really affordable price. read more

Best Dental office in the area! Everyone is amazing! they truly care for their patients, and it shows! Even with this whole COVID mess.. they make sure you and the staff are safe during each visit! Went on an emergency during COVID & they were really nice! I do not have a dentist and looking to make this my home for my teeth needs! Lol

I've been looking for a consistent dentist office for the past 7 years since my dentist of 25 years retired. I am so glad I found highland Dentistry. Everyone here is so helpful and kind. Everything about my insurance and what is covered was explained to me in full detail on my first visit. This is a dentist office for the entire family. I pulled my son out his Kids dentist where he hated going to come here, and now he speaks positively about going to the dentist. My mom just scheduled her first teeth cleaning. read more

By far the best customer service I have ever received from a dental office, and it isn't even my primary dental office yet. My fiance needed immediate attention on Friday/Saturday morning after an unfortunate incident occurred. After panicking and calling 11 other facilities, High Dental answered on a SATURDAY morning. They were able to help my fiance within 2 hours of my call. Susie answered the phone and was very patient with me, despite the fact that I could not think clearly and continued giving her wrong insurance information. After finally getting it all set, she scheduled an appointment right away. All the women in the office were very kind and sincere. Susie was so genuine and even introduced the other staff members upon arrival. When we finally saw Dr. Macias, he right away was able to alleviate my fiance's pain. The appointment was fast and efficient, and he made a referral to an oral surgeon. Although we were unable to see the surgeon he referred, Dr. Macias' office sent the medical reports to the other facility right away. The oral surgeon stated that if Dr. Macia's didn't do what he did for us on Saturday, my fiance would have lost his teeth. In summary, I am extremely grateful for their service. The High Dental team responded to our emergency with such ease and understanding, on a Saturday when most facilities are close. My fiance plans to continue seeking treatment with Dr. Macias and I plan to transfer my care as well. read more

Very good customer service and speedy turn around time. I came in with a chipped tooth on Monday and came out Tuesday with a beautiful smile. Susy and her team has been so friendly, even from the first phone call I made to get an appointment. They have always been so accommodating with the limited time that my boyfriend and I can come in for appointments. Would definitely recommend coming here, they're a small dentistry but treat their patients really well! read more

I have been having some dental work done and when I called Highland Dentistry Susie answered as was not only friendly, she was extremely helpful to get me seen and treated in a timely manner (THE SAME DAY IN FACT!). At the time i'm writing this review COVID19 protocols are still in place, door is locked and you have to knock or call for them to let you in. Very clean office and super polite, informative, and helpful staff. The Dentist I have seen are not only knowledgeable they are nice, and explain what it is they are doing or will need to do to help whatever situation you have going on. From arrival for appointment to driving away you are seen quickly, taken care of timely and that doesn't take up much time at all. Other Dental offices i had frequented before would take up so much of my time and I literally would just be waiting for most it. I love Highland Dentistry and I highly recommend that you give them a try. The Office space isn't high tech or super modern, but what counts is the service and the care you receive. I hope this helps someone find a Dentist they love!! read more

Office is nice from the inside but the reason why I'm giving it a two star because having a employee that gives attitude to a patient is not okay. "Susan" needs to be a little nicer when it comes to customers. read more

My name is Alexis W-G. I had to write a review on this amazing dental office because that's exactly what it is . My husband and I both are employed by Kaiser Permanente Hospital ,We know how important it is to provide wonderful customer service with Quality care to patients. We have been looking for a dental office that will give great care and services with a reasonable price for treatment .Highland Dentistry is the place to go to . The front office receptionist are amazing, especially the manager Susy Guerra , she was so helpful with all of my crazy questions / ridiculous request lol .I was taken back to do my x-rays and everything was so fast. They brought me back to clean my teeth and that's when I met Doctor Francisco Macias. I would have to say he was amazing . I couldn't stop looking in the mirror and bragging to my husband about my smile when I left the dental office lol. The reason why I would refer this dental office to everybody because they are very family oriented if you don't have any family you will have one when you leave this dental office. -Thanks again Highland Dentistry staff for my amazing smile I will see you again in 3 months for my teeth whitening. -Alexis W-G read more

Super happy with the organization of this place. Everyone is on top of it! From the front desk girl to the insurance side of things. I used to go to a dentist a few miles from here and he never seemed to have it together. There is nothing worse than getting to the front desk and hearing you owe more than what was described. I feel like I'm in good hands here. Upon my first visit I knew I would stay!! This is what a FAMILY dentistry should feel! UPDATE! The kids totally approve! They look forward to their appointments. It's crazy. I don't even hear them giving the doctor slack in the back room. Yay! UPDATE 2! My husband didn't make the switch over since his old dentist is closer to his job. That is till a few weeks ago, he called me from work in agonizing pain. Just that quick overnight he developed a painful abscess. I called his dentist and they didn't want to stay an extra 30 min to see him. I took a chance and called Highlands and they were more than happy to squeeze him in. I felt so much better leaving to go to work. He said they did a great job and even made the decision to pull the tooth instead of loading him up on meds and watching him suffer till the following Monday. I'm so happy we made the switch, ALL OF US. read more
