We found this place because I was looking for somewhere I could get a beer and walk out and around the town of Jim Thorpe (I believe they allow it here). But ended up staying for the vibes and plus we were super hungry. I wish I remembered our waitresses name but I believe she had pink in her hair. She allowed me and my girlfriend to sample some beers that she thought we would like because we were hesitant and what to order. We got the sangria sour beer and the white ale which were perfect for us. We also saw online that everyone loved the smash burger so we had to try it. We added truffle fries for 3 dollars which was so worth it. Some of the best fries we have ever had. Also I think we decided it was the best smash burger we have ever had. We both have never tried bacon jam and we were a bit hesitant about the pimento cheese as well. I think my favorite moment from this trip was sitting at the bar here and eating this meal. Plus the burger lived up to the hype. Thank you to the waitress we had you made our day!

Ok. We're going to try this again. I received a nasty-gram from the Yelp moderators about a…read morereview I wrote for this establishment little more than a month ago. My review was "on-the-nose" accurate. I'm of the opinion that it struck a personal nerve with the Yelp reviewer and hit a little too close to home. sweetheart.....only a hit dog will holler! My first and last and ONLY visit to this establishment was in September of 2023. I was headed to a party and forgot to buy beer. I saw signs for this distributor and decided to stop in out of convenience. I ask the person behind the counter for a specific Canadian brand of beer and was pointed in the direction of the product I was looking to buy. While on my way to get the beer, I notice two employees come out of nowhere and start following me. I'm not paranoid.....plus.....every person on the planet knows when they're being followed. I stop, look back and the two employees look everywhere else EXCEPT at me. It was embarrassing for them because they looked like clowns. It reminded me of an episode of the Three Stooges, only there were two of them. "These guys can't be serious" is what traipsed through my mind. Unfortunately, they were. I turn back around and they keep following me watching to see if I steal anything. THERE'S NOTHING TO STEAL!!! ITS ALL CASES! I sigh, get the beer I asked for, pay for it in full then leave. I've never returned and never will. I now purchase my beer from the distributor on 443! They've YET to follow me. When I walk into the distributor on 443, they treat me like a customer, not a convinct - which, by the way, is extremely laughable because I have a zero in my criminal record column. I'm a little miffed that my initial review was taken down. It's as if Yelp wants to condone horrible behavior without any repercussions. only a hit dog will holler......

A great variety and it's even better that instead of the traditional mix a 6pk shelf, they have single prices on nearly all their craft beer so you can mix whatever you want that they have. 3 taps for growler/crowler fills and alcoholic slushees also available. As usual, a well stocked selection also of domestic beer and hard cider/lemonades. Other local favorite items like Matey's pizza, Miller's hot bologna, Pawnee bills beef jerky

Ok. Let's try this again…read more I had written a review of this place a couple of days ago, but there were so many grammatical errors that it was embarrassing. I wrote an update but it was just AS embarrassing, so I decide to delete it and start fresh (no....I couldn't edit, but thank you for mentioning it). I LOVE this place. I had a truly horrific experience with a different distributor in town and vowed to never return. Must have been serendipity because without that experience I would have never found this place. When you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and a hello. Not sure about your shopping/dining experience these days, but mine is rife with attitude and indifference. This place breaks the monotony of rudeness to the point of being disarming. In fact, every single person I encountered has been extremely pleasant to deal with. A couple of months ago, I went in to fill my propane tank and they were having a minor issue. Instead of arguing about it with me or turning me away, they let me exchange my empty tank for a full one - no questions. Imagine that....a proprietor that thinks logically. Easy, peasy!!! Of course they have a wide selection....most distributors have wide selections.... this distributor comes with workers that brighten your day. This is my go-to spot for beer AND propane.

New and clean, they have a wide assortment of beer. Since I was in Pennsylvania, I grabbed a 12 pack of Yuengling Porter. $17.80 with tax. Good call on my part. And the motto on the receipt read: "Thanks for shopping at Mason's Cold Beer Too, The Coldest Beer In Town!" Truth.
