Chinese massage places appear to be popping up everywhere much like Chinese restaurants. But a welcome relief for sore tired bodies and as they say no pain no gain, and it kills (not in the true meaning of the word of course). The prices are good and the massage therapist does pin point the culprit area to work on, which is a problem as that's most painful spot!
The front facade is mainly red which is a lucky colour for the Chinese, not so sure about the flashy 'open' signage it's a bit porn shop, but rest assured it's not. The menu listing on the front window reads exactly what is on offer and prices, so if it's not what you're looking for you don't have to go inside and ask.
They offer many services from general massage to cupping, ear candling (which I want to try one of these days), reflexology, spooning and electrotherapy. Gift vouchers are also available to give as a gift and may be a good introduction for someone who has never tried Chinese massage before.
In comparison to the pop up massage tables in Westfields' a designated shop has more privacy and more time can be spent without the rushed hasty massage. One thing not on offer is private health rebates which can be off putting. read more
