We bought our house after he gave it an inspection basically with all good stuff and a few minor issues. Come to find out our house was a hazardous trap! Exposed live wires outside, electrical switches popping and blowing the fuse, cracked bathtub, single panes windows 5 inches from the ground (not to code), a terrible roof on its last leg, just to name a few things that he had to go out of his way not to notice! And when we reached out, he threw the contract we signed back in our faces in order to wipe his hands of his own negligence. So don't waste your money on a joke "inspector"

I'm so very thankful that I saw those recommendations; I hired Red Mountain Inspections to conduct an inspection on my new home I am purchasing in Lincoln, AL. I earnestly believe Chad Allen ( the proprietor) went above and beyond what a layperson - like myself would expect. Despite my home purchase being "new construction", I felt that Chad took great care to inspect every aspect of the house as if it were not new. I was there with Mr. Allen during the majority of the inspection and he took time to physically show me his findings (where practical) and showed me photos he took where not practical for me to physically see. In addition to all that, he graciously addressed my questions and concerns as a novice new home buyer. His fee was very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Red Mountain Home Inspections. Chad has over 25 years in the residential construction and has performed 1000s of home inspections. Chad is highly credentialed - as you'll see if/when you visit his website. I PROMISE I was in NO WAY compensated for my review. I consider it my civic duty to let other prospective home buyers know about stellar service when I experience it.
