The work he did was awesome and I still recommend Aloha, but not returing messages from a potential repeat customer isn't sitting great with me. Original Review: If I could give 10 stars I would. Aloha is a small, family own business that goes out of their way for their customers. We had two insulated tempered glass sliding doors in dire need of TLC. One of them had a broken panel due to a gardening accident, and both had broken seals that led to discoloration of the glass. Neither door slid very well, requiring a nearly Superman level of effort to get the door open. Through yelp I requested five quotes, two from window/door companies, two from glass companies who claimed to do repair work, and a quote from Francisco at Aloha. All the vendors were very responsive, but there was a significant difference in approach, scope, and price. The door/window companies wanted to replace the entire door at a much higher price than replacing the glass. The two glass companies were within dollars of each other, but it was just glass replacement. What differentiated aloha was not only would they replace the glass, but they would also replace the door rollers with new high-quality wheels, and ensure that everything was in tiptop shape. They were even a few hundred dollars cheaper than the glass only companies. The replacement glass took about a week, and Francisco and his niece were out the next morning. They put in a long day of work and I absolutely could not be happier with the results. The door slide better than New, and the low energy glass should make a big difference this summer. They also cleaned up the tracks and made the screens work better than before, although they are a bit trashed. Right now I'm waiting for a quote on replacement screens made of high-quality aluminum, plus Francisco said if they come back out he could replace the screen material in a couple of windows that need it for a very inexpensive price. I recommend Francisco and his family at aloha without reservation. He is responsive, honest, friendly, skilled, knowledgeable, and very competitively priced. If you need your sliding door repaired, including glass replacement, please give them a call. You will be happy you did.
