Let me start by saying this is for the Louisa location not Charlottesville. i have spent a lot of money there and today the owner was there and I asked for a little help on a package Deal I was going to get over 100$ worth of goods right but as soon as I asked he got all weird and wouldn't help then lied and said they don't give discounts when he has personally done it before. The staff at Higher Education is extremely knowledgeable about CBD/hemp and the smoke accessories they carry. The shop really blends in with the surrounding environment and doesn't stick out like every other neon lit smoke shops. I like a straight pipe. I found a straight pipe. I don't need no octopus or unicorn; but if you do, you can find that as well. Even after choosing my 1 of 2 pipes, and, when the concierge put the wrong one back I had to correct him, in comparison to other experiences, I would say he was stoned as well. Great shop with an expansive selection and great conversations! Dawn was amazing, go see her for whatever you need... we shared a story about our struggle with finding a long enough and funky sized downstem and she just so happened to have exactly what we needed. Goes to show it never hurts to ask! Check out this shop, spend a good amount of time looking through everything and checking out the flow of awesomeness and you will be sure to find a few wonderful items like we did. Had a terrible time trying to get a new pen from there, the manager said I was talking over her when I was just trying to find a better pen because the one I bought was broken. She continued to yell about the fact that it was my fault even though I was completely okay with paying full price for a new one. I'll just continue to go to d.c. seeing as Charlottesville higher education is rude to frequent customers. read more
