I have no idea about a thing else in the store, but if you carry a thing, you are going to have to handle more reviews, and this is about cigars. Awful. I don't think their humidors are even plugged in. They might seem to have a large selection but when you look closely, things are out of stock, cigars were in mismatched boxes, and the one I bought to smoke right then was so dried out the wrapper was flaking off. Stay far away if you want cigars. My advice to this joint is to just stop carrying cigars. Why would you even bother if you obviously don't give AF? Why? Just don't. It's embarrassing.

We thought something was wrong with it. On my next visit to Charlottesville I brought the chair back to the store on my way out of town but they had just closed about 10 minutes earlier. I waved my arms and got Stephanie's attention. She came, opened the door, and heard the issue despite the fact that she was due elsewhere. It turned out that the problem was easy to solve--we probably could have done it ourselves. But I was blown away that she opened the door and helped me when she was under zero obligation to do so. This was above and beyond to me, especially as a New York City transplant. Thank you a million!

I was very disappointed with the service at the Costco Optical Counter when I went to pick up…read moreglasses that I had already paid for two weeks earlier. Costco had repeatedly texted me that my glasses were ready, so I came in specifically to pick them up. There was no line, and staff had time to speak with me, but I was told I would have to wait while they finished assisting another customer. I explained that I could not wait. If Costco is going to repeatedly notify customers that their glasses are ready for pickup, I believe there should be a reasonable way for someone to simply hand over glasses that have already been purchased and paid for. Customers picking up completed orders should not feel like they have become unimportant once the sale is finished. Unfortunately, that was the message I took away from my experience today: the attention was there before the purchase, but not after. I would recommend buying glasses from an optical provider that makes customers feel valued both before and after they pay.
