I was recently staying at the Orlando World Center Marriott for a conference, and while Orlando is a city with a lot to offer, I only left the hotel a few times during my five-day stay due to so many restaurants, meeting spaces, and opportunities to connect with colleagues within the World Center Marriott. That included two visits to High Velocity with colleagues for private socials. In one case, they were hanging out at the bar while High Velocity was open, and the other time, they reserved the entire space. I enjoyed the food and drinks and service during my visits. During one night of my conference, I was invited to join several colleagues at the High Velocity bar. I found them literally at the bar inside High Velocity. While a number of colleagues were sitting at the bar, I stood around chatting with several of my colleagues as drinks were prepared for us. The service was great, and the drinks were tasty and hit the spot. Later during my conference, one of the companies rented out the entire place. There was a check-in table at the outside of High Velocity. Once we checked in, we could order a drink at the bar and then sit anywhere. There were several tables of food that continued to be refilled. One had desserts and the other had savory snacks and food. There were also trivia games and a DJ for the night. It was a great event, and the food and drinks were great! High Velocity is the Orlando World Center Marriott's on-site sports bar. Relax and catch a sports game with friends as you enjoy some good beers and other drinks along with burgers, wings, and more. They have a casual dining menu that offers a little something for everyone. It is open daily from 4 PM to 11 PM. Had two visit here during my week long stay for a conference. One night my friend & I split a pizza, cauliflower, & side salads. All very good! Especially the cauliflower bites. Another night we had the nachos which were a giant portion The guac was very tasty! There's an option to add protein as well. 02.22.25 Wife and I and my mom stopped in for dinner this restaurant is inside the Marriott world center. I ordered a punch drink it was very good wife had water, I was going to get an old fashion but for $21 for a shot of bourbon nope. I know it's because of where I'm at. Wife had the salmon she said it was very good I had the Cuban and onion ring ($3 up charge) it was very good mom had a cowboy burger (no picture she started eating before my picture) she said it was good. The service was ok could have been better it wasn't that busy we had to keep asking for water. For the 3 of us to eat with tip was $115 I guess because we are at Disney the prices go up! read more

Family and I came on a Saturday evening around 8:45 pm. Hosts on arrival were friendly and welcoming. It's a sports bar so televisions are everywhere and the noise level is high. Somehow we were over looked and our waiter helped others who arrived before us. Our food was worth the wait though. Appetizers were the chicken wings, the Habanero wings were not that great. I don't recommend them, bland no flavor. But the Garlic Parmesan wings were so creamy and crispy. We all did order the New York steaks. I changed my sides with creamy garlic mashed potatoes. The food here is pretty good. I ordered nachos as an entree. I couldn't finish it. It can feed 2-3 people. What I love about this dish is the perfect saltiness of the chips. The other perk is the creaminess of the queso. This restaurant is located inside the Orlando World Marriott Center and is one of many restaurants. The hotel is cashless, so be prepared for that. The vibe is pretty lively as it's a sports bar. It's a loud place but you can have a conversation without yelling. I will definitely return for another meal during my stay. read more

Stopped in for a couple appetizers and had the best experience ever. Both onion rings and wings were hot, fresh and crispy. The garlic parm wings were dripping with sauce and the habenero honey were fried to perfection. We did order them extra crispy. Only 2 things we got and they were perfect. The chef yelling at their employees can always be heard in the room, that's just an indicative of how bad this place is, your money is best spent anywhere else in the hotel and much better at any of the other outlets. Food comes out of dark kitchen with a dark aura. The servers are trying their best but how can they sell food they don't like cause there's not much to like honestly. One of eight restaurants inside the Marriott world center in Orlando Florida. We're staying here for a convention and looking for a place for a quick bite before a meeting found High Velocity, a sports bar on the second level of the hotel complex. The place does not open until 4:00 p.m. but we were seated immediately and the bar filled up quickly with convention goers, all having the same idea of needing a bite to eat. We told them we had a meeting at 5:00 and needed a rush and he accommodated us. We only needed an appetizer so we had the chicken tenders with a sweet Thai chili sauce and a ranch sauce on the side. The Thai chili sauce was very good as was the ranch. We had a nice hot order of french fries that were crispy and very good. We also had a beer, a cocktail and an unsweetened iced tea. It was easy to charge to the room and the food is very good. As we will be here for a few more days we will be going back to the sports bar again. This sports bar is at the Orlando World Center. Marriott is a must miss place to dine. I stopped by during the conference to order the cudecided to order the Cuban sandwich, thinking that would be really hard to mess up.It was delivered with a beautiful presentation on the plate, but when I bit into it. I discovered the bottom side had been charred. As in blackened to charcoal. At this point, the server disappeared and was not to be seen, so I could not return the sandwich. Since I was done with colleagues. And we plans to go someplacees later. And I have the opportunity sandwich. We are also charging an automatic twenty percent gratuity. Poor food, poor service. I don't think any equal activity had been earned on this. I do not recommend that you eat here. read more

Food was absolutely terrible. 4 of us didn't even finish half of our meals or appetizers, you know it's bad when an eight year old says it has no flavor. A total waste of money and a complete disappointment for world Marriott. As platinum members we have stayed in our fair share of hotels and this place needs to have a new chef. This little tucked away restaurant is spacious and is there for all your sports needs. I was at a convention at the Marriott and was looking for a quick bite to eat. They were friendly and found me a table every time I visited. These hours are great especially for late night hunger when you are stuck in your hotel room. They have some great wings and burgers to hit the spot. If you are staying over and want a quick bite to eat I would recommend this place for the convenience. read more

One of the few restaurants inside the Orlando World Center Marriott. This was the last place where we were able to grab a table within 15 mins. All of the other restaurants had about a 45 min to 2 hour wait so....we were limited on options. Don't have high expectations of this place. For starters, we decided to try Dips appetizers (which was served with 3 different dips and veggies/chips/crackers. Two of the three chips were actually edible. I don't remember, but it was either the Buffalo or the pimento cheese dip where half of it was a solid brick. Our server didn't check in on us often, and I can't blame him since he may have been overwhelmed from all the people staying at the hotel. The Garlic Parmesan wings (9 wings per order) were only okay. It was saucy, but not quite as delicious as Bdubs. I really did enjoy the Mango Margarita since I was in dire need of a drink. Helped me relax a bit. Overall, the experience was okay and did the job of feeding it's customers. Let's just say that we definitely made sure to make reservations for the next night. read more

I also ordered the HV burger Ambiance: 5/5 Has a really cool upscale sports bar feel Food: 4/5 Food came out in a timely manner and was solid. It's not a 5 star restaurant but def 5 stars for what it is - a hotel sports bar. We came in for a quick snack and everything was great. I think our server's name was Heidi. She said the wings were great, I trusted her and wasn't disappointed! I opted for half buffalo and half garlic Parmesan. The garlic Parmesan were basically like an Alfredo sauce with garlic which sounds kind of gross and they were very heavy but delicious. My husband had a burger and my son, a flatbread. We enjoyed the food! The buns were fresh and soft, my blackened fish was a nice size and delicious and the burgers were good as well. The fried onion rings on the burger were crispy. There are a lot of screens with different sports on each one. There are games inside as well (the sound became a bit annoying). The prices of the food on the menu, for a hotel, we felt were fair. The venue and food are actually pretty decent. The staff were... slow. Slow to get us our cutlery, drinks and food. They were lots of people tonight with comments going on, but they also had lots of staff. Besides, they were running around like headless chickens with no goals and order, so it reflects their management. Besides that their food are quite yummy! Overpriced but yummy! The chicken wings had wet or dry options, meaning with or without sauces. All the wet ones were exceptional! Such as Korean, bbq mustard... The HV burger was a pork and beef patty burger with bacon jelly and this was seriously good. Highly recommend this burger! Fishburger..., dont try it! Its dry and flavorless. 3.5 Stars Prices are on the high side, but if you get past that, overall it's a very nice sports bar at the Marriott. Food is a 4, but prices were considered in the ranking. If you are a beer drinker, High Velocity has a good variety with about 12 beers on tap (including Stone IPA, Magic Hat, Yuengling, Bass Pale Ale, Cigar City White, Funky Bhudda Floridian, PBR, etc.) and another 15-20 selections by the bottle. They can make cocktails and they have a limited wine selection. We ordered many dishes and I did not get to try them all. My favorites: Nachos ($12) - A huge plate that you can share between 6-8 people. You definitely get your money's worth here. Loads of chips, covered with melted real cheese (not sauce) and all your favorite toppings on top or on the side... salsa, guacamole, sour cream, olives, tomatoes, jalapenos, onions. Sea Salt Potato Chips with Three Onion Dip ($6) - A generous amount of freshly fried chips, sprinkled with sea salt flakes, accompanied by a cup of creamy, chunky onion dip. Lots of finely chopped onions in every bite. The onion dip also works perfectly with fries. Buttermilk Chicken Tenders and Fries ($15) - It's listed as an appetizer but it's a full meal in itself. It comes with honey mustard and BBQ sauce, I really liked the honey mustard. The chicken tenders had a light, flaky crust that gave way to juicy pieces of white meat. Other dishes: Burger and Cheese Sliders with Fries ($14) - Comes with four burgers. They were good but seemed a little sparse on top as they only came with caramelized onions and melted cheddar cheese. If you prefer mini burgers over their full size offerings, these will do the trick. Buffalo Shrimp ($15) - It comes with about 12 shrimp, but the shrimp are tiny! Dish flavor was okay. I would not order this again, just not enough food for the price. Pesto Turkey Burger with Fries ($16) - Everything was ground together into a soft patty. It tasted fine, but nothing about it really stood out. My friend ordered this so I just had a taste. I did not try any of the full scale burgers but the regular burgers looked good. If you are just looking to have drinks and snack, the nachos and the sea salt potato chips are really good. Obviously food prices would be cheaper off the property, but if you are stuck onsite, it's good place to get some food and watch the game at. read more

Located inside the Orlando World Center hotel, this sports bar was decked out with large tvs everywhere and seating from higj tops to large booths. We went in on a Friday night and had about a 20 minute wait. Our server was friendly and on his suggestion we ordered the loaded nachos made with homemade potato chips rather than the traditional corn chips. It was delicious. I love fresh made chips so that was a nice touch. I also love old fashioneds so I ordered their "rested old fashioned" which the server mentioned is made in batches and rested. Well, it was the best old fashioned I have ever had so I have since been trying to re-create it at home. If anyone has the recipe, please share!
