Decent maintenance and parts department, but that's where it stops. I agree with a previous assessment of the finance and sales. I was negotiating a deal on a Street Bob, and accepted an offer of $10k. I was using my own financing, but the price jumped to just over $17k, after they tacked on a slew of fees. Of course, I politely walked away from that deal. They are also very aggressive and persistent...that's what sales-people do, but this was a bit over the top. This dealership was much better under the previous ownership. The current business model has only served to keep me away, unfortunately. read more

A couple days ago I set up an appointment with High Stakes Harley Davidson of Florence, Kentucky. I was to meet with the salesman at 3 o'clock. Upon arriving, I found out it was his day off. Not good. They called him to come over. Today I received a survey from them. They called me rather pissed off and said I had only seen three people, not the six I claimed in my survey. They were correct here. ( It just seemed like six) And their salesmen did not pressure me as I had said in the survey, but were only doing their job as salesman. I was there for two hours. And they did constantly pressure me to buy the bike NOW. I told them I had to sell one of my cars to make room for the bike, but that was ignored. I was told the bike I was going to pay cash for was 9 years old and was certified with a one year warranty. ( It had a sticker on it that said it was certified) Then I was told it had no warranty, but they would be happy to sell me a top of the line warranty for only a little over twenty thousand dollars. Or I could get the basic warranty for a little over two thousand dollars. Also the bike I was interested in was listed at $16,800, but after their "necessary" add-ons it was suddenly over $18,000. I finally go frustrated and left. Today they called me about 15 minutes after submitting my survey and proceeded to tell me how wrong I was. So I got my ass chewed. I think the conversation should have been more toward how can we work things out and not one chewing me out. Nice place. Obviously I will look elsewhere. read more

A second-to-none experience in a motorcycle shop teeming with new and used inventory, apparel, and parts department. All of the sales staff were extremely friendly, approachable, and ready to answer any questions I had. I was afforded the opportunity to test ride any bike of my choice (I rode a few) and sat on many. A big shout out to Ryan, Dave, and Austin for helping me select the right bike for me, giving an awesome deal, and test riding in the low 40° weather! I recently moved to NKY this is the closest Harley dealer to me. One of my bike needed simple clutch repair. My bad experience started the moment I dropped the bike off, Staff was very inattentive and seemed to be bothered. They held bike 2weeks before they even looked at it. They recommend aftermarket parts then said it would be another 2weeks parts on back order. Keep in mind calling for updates are virtually impossible because they never answer the phone and never return voice mails. Then after 2 weeks recommended stock parts and added another 1-2 weeks! I WILL PICK UP MY BIKE AND GO ELSEWHERE FOR THE REPAIR! I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN read more

Got a lemon bike from them and can't get them to work with me other than they say they will fix it for the 3rd time now like no I want my trade in back an out this loan I'm not paying for junk that keeps leaking oil and its brand new 2023 street Bob and will not stop leaking oil since I road off with it. While buying a bike they lied on several different occasions. They added fees during financing and when I called them on it they said it was Harley-Davidson protocol. So I called Harley-Davidson and they said it was not their protocol to charge fees and those fees was optional insurance. Harley-Davidson called the dealership and they lied saying that wasn't what they said. The finance guy C. Corwin is a thief and a liar along with the managers. Just save yourself time and money and buy from another reputable dealer. By the way this dealership is owned by the same people who own Cincity harley. read more

Stopped in to purchase fluids, gaskets, filter etc for my 2007 Road King. Was also going to get a new battery and battery tender. I was ready to checkout and pay for everything needed for fluid change to see how much was left on my gift cards that my kids and grandkids gave to me over past birthday and Christmas. They wouldn't Honor gift card purchased at Thoroughbred Harley, which was previous owner. They could have processed it and saved a loyal Harley customer and rider since 1968, way before any of them were born. I will drive 100 miles before stepping foot back in there...... We visited this location while traveling through Kentucky. We really liked this location, and as we often do, we purchased our Harley Davidson shirts specific to the shop. They had a terrific selection with lots to choose from. We both found shirts we loved, paid, and got back on the road. A week or so later my husband pulled his new thoroughbred Harley Florence shirt out of the closet only to find it had a tear across the stomach. I called the location and explained the situation to Missy, the merchandise manager. She was super sweet and even though I offered to pay shipping to replace the shirt, she refused to let us and Instead shipped us another shirt all the way to Arizona. I offered to send the damaged shirt back on my dime, but she told us to just hold on to it. A+ customer service! We were so happy to have worked with Missy and the terrific response she gave us to our issue was more than generous. Thank you ! read more

Staff is nice and said hello as soon as we walked in. But the merchandise is PATHETIC. Been trying to get a t-shirt, just a basic t-shirt that says the name of the Harley Davidson store with Florence, KY on it for almost 8 months now to send to a family member out of state and they NEVER have any in stock. Stopped in today and there was a total of FOUR t-shirts on the wall. That's it. Staff had no idea when they would get more in. This is our third time stopping in hoping they would finally have t-shirts and they don't. Doesn't make any sense! read more

Great professional service department. I had an issue on the road where some debris took out my kickstand spring causing it to drop and drag on the pavement. I swung by Thoroughbred since I was in that area to see what I would need to fix it. Instead the staff took my bike in and repaired it right away and had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes at a very reasonable cost. They even did some recall work I was unaware of. I have been at this location multiple times due to this is where I live. Every time I am in need of certain assistance whether that be questions or parts there is always a problem/inconvenience with staff. Just recently I was in the market for a brand new Harley Davidson street glide special and I was in this store again and was asking questions about certain motorcycles and staff keeps a very minimal conversation with you at all times. After spending 20 min or so trying to get a deal worked on a motorcycle I finally got fed up with it all and traveled over 80 miles to man o war in Lexington. I am now the owner of a brand new motorcycle thanks to Man O War and was treated like a human being. I would never buy another thing from this dealer or even waste my time with the staff there. Do your self a favor and go to Man O War Lexington Ky Florence Location to me and others in my family has piss poor service altogether. Hopefully someone in management reads this to better their company and keep Harley Davidson a good thing and not a bad thing. read more

1 star is too much for this DUMP! This review is on the motor clothes and merchandise section. Drove out of our way to come here based on name. Total waste of time and gas. No t-shirts and the lame excuse is they sold out at Christmas. Christmas was over a month ago so whoever does the merchandise is a moron. Poker chips that others sell for a MAXIMUM price of $2 were $3 here. I am a chip collector but refused to pay this overpriced price for very plain chips. Save your time and gas, this place is a JOKE and an embarrassment to Harley Davidson. read more

We bought a used bike from these guys and boy did they see us coming. We had never owned before and they sold us a lemon. We were told they go over them with a fine tooth comb. Wrong! We had it in the shop time and time again until we traded at Eastgate (which has much better customer service) only to find out it had been wrecked and had many problems. We lost 5K on that deal. Will never buy anything from them again, not even a t-shirt. Very poor customer service on their part. read more

First off don't ever take a bike here for service. The worst service dept. in the history of Serv dept. the Indians run the show. They only have 2 techs and they don't work often. We went here to buy a used bike. As we were talking to the salesman, another salesman was ease dropping behind us. As we talked about being able to pay cash and could get insurance in the morning, the ease dropping salesman disappeared. We went outside to view the bike again to make a final decision; and it was gone. The ease dropping salesman laughed and said I just sold it over the phone. This is a very unethical business practice and buyers beware. Our salesman was doing well, but the unethical one not only swiped the bike from under us; he swiped his commission from him. If you still choose to go here, please watch over your shoulder continuously. If there are others around, don't be afraid to ask them to step back!!! I was really disappointed in this dealership! Not one person asked me if I need assistance. When I did ask for assistance, I was treated as if I were putting the girls of at the counter. I understand being a small dealership but when I looked at shirts for my husband they only had smalls except in something with a naked girl. Not his style!
