I told him I wanted to follow up and in the meantime had checked another bank for rates and he told me "he is not going on a wild goose chase" for me. I said that I guess that means there is nothing to do here and was going to hang up but then he scolded me for wasting his time. After we hung up I emailed him to lose my number and that I thought his conduct was very unprofessional, he responded with "You should respect peoples times..asking us to work for free is not something we do." I was under the impression we were engaging in normal business protocol, we had exchanged about 3 emails and two phone calls for a total of 5 minutes over the span of a month. We originally discovered Todd through Yelp and decided to give him a call, he was readily available to answer all our questions and get the process started. Once all our paperwork was submitted, he was able to get our preapproval quickly, little did we know we would be on a lock down due to the pandemic shortly after. Fortunately, Todd was understanding and had patience with us during this crazy time. Once things got a little less hectic, we were able to pick back up where we left off. He took the time to explain our loan options on multiple occasions and was ALWAYS available to answer all our questions. He was able to provide us with an FHA option as well as a conventional. We decided on the FHA since it made more financial sense for our situation.
