My husband and I have been going there for years and slowly seeing the business changing since the death of Dr. Rasa. My doctor was Dr. Shraytman. Last correspondence with the office staff and Dr. Shraytman was when I called for him to recommend vitamins to take for my osteoporosis. He said I should s schedule an office visit for that answer. I now go to another doctor and cannot believe the difference in what an entire physical consist of. Dr. Smith is a very well mannered thorough caring doctor. An example of Dr. Shraytman's professionalism is when he kept prescribing for YEARS that I take medicine for my Gerd only to find out you should never take it more than a few weeks! He kept renewing it so I kept taking it. Anyway, I am happy I will not be visiting that office anymore. This is the worst medical practice around. When David Rasa and his group ran it, they were excellent. Now they are a miserable and non caring medical practice. Don't make the mistake of choosing them as your primary care. My son died and they were callous and horrible with what they did and did not do. Dr. Rasa would be furious with what has happened here. My son received negligent care at the Hamburg Turnpike location by Dr. Arkadiy Shraytman. He had blood work taken in the office and then went same day for an ultrasound. He called a few times for results and was told the doctor would call him. Two and a half weeks later he finally received a call with results of a serious illness and given perfunctory instructions. He has since had to go to the emergency room for follow up care because of the doctor and practice's negligence. I would NOT recommend this practice. They are not concerned about the patient or at least the doctor he saw was not. I called and complained but it was not satisfactorily addressed or taken seriously. Find another doctor and practice. read more

This practice has definately gone down hill! Our family has been going here for over 30 years and I cannot believe how horrible they have become. Dr. Shraytman has to be the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met!!! My husband had a 6 pm appointment for a medical clearance and we did not see this poor excuse for a doctor until 7:30 and then it was like he was just looking for something to be wrong. My husband is a perfectly healthy adult who rarely goes to the doctor. Dr. Shraytman started with putting him on alert that his pulse was low, causing concern and anxiety to both me and my husband. He then pulled up past testing to prove that this was normal for him. If this was a concern, why wasn't it noted on his chart to guide whichever doctor he sees? When that wasn't reason enough to look for additional testing, he then focused on blood in his urine. My husband has a history of kidney stones which could be the cause of this issue. They come and go without issue. It is not noted in his chart that he has a history? Dr. Shraytman didn't seem to have any information in his chart that would help him with my husbands history, or he just didn't bother to read anything. What is the point of having a patient chart if you aren't going to read the history of the individual? Lets add in the fact that this man is also very difficult to understand. At one point he started to explain something to us and neither of us had a clue what he was saying. We are now stuck with having to go for additional testing, unnecessay testing, costing us additional money and time and potentially leading to having to reschedule his 20 minute procedure! Did I mention that all of the testing is through the facility in their building that they have a financial stake in? It is a shame that this practice continues to keep this man at the helm. We have had occassion to been seen by every other professional in the practice and have NEVER had any issues or had to deal with such nonsense. Had we known in advance that our appointment was with Shraytman, we would have requested a different doctor from the start. We are thinking it is time to find a different practice where we feel more confident in the doctor we see. read more

Went there with a ear problem as well as needed a referral to see an OBGYN as I am pregnant, he even did blood work to confirm. (my insurance requires referrals from a pcp for other specialists). Dr. Shraytman was very rude the moment he came in. He ignored all my other problems that I had brought up. They do not answer the phone when I call, there is no place to leave a voicemail. I am still currently waiting on my referral to go see an OBGYN. When someone does finally answer the phone, I am told that the referral is still not completed. It has now been 5 days since I was at the office and I was told I would have my results as well as the referral the very next day. On top of all that, I told the Dr. I had a miscarriage in July and was rushed to the ER-so going to see an OBGYN asap is quite crucial but the Dr. does not seem to take that seriously, he doesn't take his patients seriously. read more

Don't know what they are doing, I was diagnosed with a hernia, sent for an ultrasound to find out I had trapped gas. My dad was diagnosed with a sinus infection, ended up in the hospital a day later with shingles on his face and in his eye. Stop causing physical, emotional, and financial pain to your patients. read more

Went for my yearly checkup in 2022, which is covered 100% by my insurance. The tech took my blood pressure and info. Dr DeIngeniis came in 15 minutes later. Had nothing out of the ordinary discussed or done. 2 months later I received a bill in the mail for an office visit???? Tried to contact the billing department for 6 months-only option was to leave a voicemail. Never received any call back after repeatedly leaving messages-they sent it to collections-I disputed it! Office admins created a bogus additional "service" that was never done during my visit-claimed it triggered an additional office visit charge they sent to my insurance company(which the insurance paid as it was coded "office visit" I was left with the balance the insurance did not pay. The office workers use your medical insurance like its THEIR credit card to charge up false services! Stay away from every High Mountain Health location-unfortunately its not the doctors that are the issue-its the front desk and billing department that will be very problematic! read more

There is one young lady in particular, who works at the front desk at High Mountain Health, Sara Shaker, who is the most hospital and caring person there. My dad and I are very pleased with her professionalism and thoroughness with every patient who walks through the door. She was not only timely with providing my bloodwork results, as well as providing in detail our questions. Also, when I was waiting in line to check-in, the woman in front of me was thanking Sara for being so helpful. After letting Sara know that I needed an Ultrasound, she walked me down to radiology and made sure I was put in for an urgent apt. ASAP. She is seriously the only one who cares about patients in this office. read more

Rude front desk ladies. They doctors do not diagnose properly. Go to a different urgent care.

Every time I try to call I'm greeted with sigh of disgust from the person on the other end as if I totally just inconvenienced their day. Sit in the waiting room, fill out all the paperwork. Get called in where someone then comes in takes blood pressure and continues to ask the exact same questions that I just filled out all the paperwork for. Then comes time for the doctor to come in to where then he proceeded to ask the exact same questions again! I can't speak for all the doctors but the doctor that I saw didn't seem to want to listen. I let him speak, taking in everything he said, then when trying to respond back he would interrupt not allowing me to finish. This made follow-up phone conversations very difficult and challenging as well. Not a good experience overall. read more

There are not many doctors like Dr Rasa. He takes the time to get to know you and listens to what you have to say. Dr Rasa's intelligence, kindness and level of patient care is 2nd to none. I could not recommend him and the rest of the staff at High Mt Health enough. My mother has been an RN at a major local hospital for over 40 years. She uses High Mt Health and Dr Rasa is her primary care physician. I believe that says it all. read more

Appointment time is NEVER respected. No matter if you have an appointment time or not it's consistently a 1 to 2 hour wait. Stood at the window for five minutes while a lady was at the desk without a greeting or a how can I help you. Very rude environment. read more

I'm used to the disapproving looks whenever I tell a doctor I don't have insurance, but stop treating me like an assumed criminal for it. I've been going here for almost two years, always paid my bill, and still get rude demands for payment before seeing the doctor in office. Fine, I expect little in terms of customer service, but when I'm charged for initial visits, even when they're follow ups, maybe dial it back. I kept going, just because I don't think cost is better anywhere else anyway, in the increasing monopolization of healthcare by a few companies. But my last straw was when, after years of being a patient, I came back for a repeat blood test, only to have the woman taking my blood tell me that my bill was going to 4 times what it was for the exact same test less than 2 months ago, and then immediately proceed to tell me what the consequences are for not paying it. I don't know why I need to be scolded for actions that I wasn't guilty of, by somebody years younger than me, in a place that is supposed to provide care. I'll put up with a lot, but they finally pushed me to a line I probably should of placed a mile back. If you don't want to experience blatant disrespect, find another doctor. read more

My son went to the urgent care about 6:50 and it was closed. Why advertise you are open u til 7 when clearly you are not. I advised him to go there and pass another urgent care up. Stick to the hours you post!!! read more

A great caring practice where you are not just another number. The care and compassion that they give each of their patients is commendable! Everyone gets their undivided attention during their visit.I have been seen at other doctor practices but none compare to the one to one doctor-patient care that they give here. Dr. Rasa's nurse, Angelica went above and beyond to make sure I had everything needed to get well again. A truly great practice where they care about your well being. I went with my sister to her unexpected emergency Dr appointment one day and the next day I had my own scheduled appointment. When they saw me the next day at my visit everyone asked about how my sister was feeling and if she got her meds and making sure she was on the mend as well. What a caring practice! A rare find.
