Specialties
We specialize in individual pet cremation with the respect and dignity your pet deserves. For your convenience, we offer pick up and return service at your veterinarian's office or your home, in our designated area, or you may make an appointment to visit our facility. We serve all of North Central WV, and parts of southwestern PA. We offer a large line of specialty pet urns, cremation jewelry, and memorial stones to fulfill all of your memorial needs.
As our service is a very sensitive one, we respect the right for our clients to have their own personal time while at our crematory. Therefore, our hours are by appointment only. Simply give us a call to schedule an appointment, or to make arrangements over the phone. We realize how important it is to have closure, and to receive your pet's remains back in a timely fashion. Most cremations are ready for return within 3-4 business days.
High Meadow Pet Crematory is located in southern Monongalia County, just 2.5 miles from I-79. Our facility sits on a hill with a beautiful mountain view, surrounded by nature and serenity. All services are provided locally at our facility. There is no "middle man".
As pet owners, we understand the need to know that your beloved pet is handled with dignity and respect, and we promise to treat them as if they are "our baby" while they are in our care.
Please visit our Facebook page, or call for more information. We are honored to serve you at this difficult time.
History
Established in 2006.
Sitting high upon a hill overlooking the WV mountains, High Meadow Pet Crematory has been open since January 2006. (Owners Jim and Joyce Ward, are lifelong residents of Monongalia County WV, and attended WVU.) As pet lovers, we made the decision to open a business supplying a much needed service to NCWV and surrounding areas. We decided to make this service more personal. We work directly with the client, helping them decide on the best option for their family. We work to alleviate the fears, and assure our clients that their babies will be handled with love and care, ready for return in a few days, not a few weeks. All service is provided by us alone, and all cremations are done locally in our facility. Our goal is to provide the best personal service we can for our clients and their pets.
