Larry arrived, and after deciphering the installation instructions, we realized that what the installer had told me was wrong. Thank goodness I didn't attempt the way I had been told. Anyway, Larry went to work, double and triple checking every cut, and rising to each hidden challenge. I can't say enough about the effort he put into the work, or the cheerfulness with which he went about his work. I'd Have given him TEN STARS if I could.

The job received 4 bids and Hay Residential came in as the second highest bid BUT was the most detailed and was more closely to what we estimated the job would cost. We completely remolded the master bathroom, added new floors to the entire house, fixed a broken plumbing line and replaced the drive through side gate. Jim Hay was very easy to work with and kept us updated with pictures since we don't live in the area. Jim offered cost-cutting ideas and we also contracted with him to do extra work. However I signed the contract based on conversations I had with PSE employees, and was told I was to pay a deposit on (retainer) and then pay balance before getting final product. When I reminded PSE employee about the comments made, I was told that verbal comments are not the same as a contract. No they are not. So we decided not to do business, I found some other company in 30 minutes that does work on a deposit first and then balance before prints are provided policy. Yes I'm sorry we couldn't do business either. However I'm just used to verbal comments being the same as what's in the contract I sign. But appearently not this time. I'm sure PSE is not at all affected by losing one small client like me. Good luck to them as well. I'm not trying to say everyone gets treated this way by PSE. I'm just saying that was my experience, and wrote a review based only on my experience.

What do you think of my review?…read more We contracted Double M Contractors to replace our roof. Our roof was a bit more complicated because it is a flat roof. Woody the owner assured us he could do the job and we wouldn't have any issues. 3 months after the roof replacement we came home to our carport leaking and later on found more leaks in our roof and discovered it was molding. We contacted Woody about the issues, he came out once and then told us that it was basically our problem. We had to hire another company to replace the roof again. If you want to hire a company who stands by their work this is definetely not the company. He refused to realize the true issue which was that he did not know what he was doing when he had his company install the roof and then did not take ownership when we ran into issues. He left us in worse shape than we were before we had hired them since we were out so much money. Woody got us to trust him and then truly let us down. Do not be fooled by his small town country Christian demeanor because he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Do yourself a favor and hire a contractor who stands by their work and won't leave you stranded if anything goes wrong.
