He knew details of all the different trails and gave us clear instructions on the route we needed to take. He then would wait for us anywhere the route touched a road just in case we needed something. Was not in a rush and encouraged us to ride as much as we wanted shuttling us around to various trails around St George. Had a cooler of water bottles he shared with us also. His setup can take up to 11 bikers. Will definitely be using Mountain Bike Buddies again.

For $70/person, or approximately the same cost as renting a full suspension bike at a local shop: - Mark picked us up in the morning at our rental property, shuttled us 40 mins east to Gooseberry Mesa and JEM trailheads, then returned us home after riding. - Rented us full-suspension Kona mountain bikes in excellent condition, helmets and gloves. - Provided a cooler full of water, gatorade and other drinks, as well as snacks. - Guided us through the Gooseberry trails to ensure that our less-experienced riders were up to the task. Our riding experience was fantastic; even better, however, were the van rides to/from the trails as Mark entertained us with an array of fantastic stories. Incredible value and an even better guy. Mark also offers multi-day tours to Moab and/or Fruita; we didn't have time for that on this trip, but I'd absolutely plan a vacation around such an experience in the future.

The Sling shot we rented from this place was great, full manual with plenty of ponies to keep you entertained. The owners were super nice and worked completely with our schedule. We reserved the vehicle the night before, picked it up in the morning and dropped it off around 7pm that night no hassles. 10/10 would come back they also have all sorts of motorcycles if that's more your speed

St. George park is up in the hills of this small-sized Mormon town, and yes indeed it was full of…read moreMormons. I guess they think it is in style to wear the same quiet blue-jeans (or blue jean skirt) with button up white shirts and short-cropped hair..the entire family of 10...weird. But anyway, the park itself had a pretty cool view of the town, which in itself seemed to have few redeeming qualities. The red rocks reminded me of the Garden of the Gods from my home town and overall it was a cool place to stop and have a drink and look at the slowly meandering semi-trucks in the background (illegally I might add...there is no glass (and of course no alcohol) allowed in park). But you know me: rebel to a T. If you are around the area, check it out. And if you want to get that first kiss, I couldn't think of a better overlook...just watch out for the Mormon popo's.

We live close to the park and have hiked most of the trails. But this one is a hidden treasure that even the Park Manager didn't know about. Hat's off to Jim Martinson (the owner/guide) for: his love of nature, spirit of adventure, and finding & sharing this trail. It's under 3 miles round trip and only a 500' elevation gain, but spectacular views. And some stair-like climbs that are an adrenaline rush! No ropes, but some definite exposure in one spot. The guides; Jim, Martha and Joel, were fantastic! They were very organized, super helpful & friendly and talked about the trail, the geology and life in general. And they very much stressed safety. It was a lot of fun and the quickest 3 hours & best money spent in a long time. Will watch their website, can't wait for another trip.
