After much research, we decided to switch to High Desert Internet Services from one of the big internet providers and we are very glad we did. From the first call to the completion of the installation and beyond, customer service was particularly good. Speaking to Terri in the office was a pleasure. She patiently answered all my questions and scheduled a date for the service to be installed. On July 21, 2025, the tech, Todd, arrived on time and ready to work. After surveying the layout of our home and property, Todd called the owner, Doug, to confer about proper placement of the equipment. Doug showed up right away to confirm the best location, then they went right to work and had everything up and running quickly. We are now paying much less, and the internet speed is faster than what we had before with a different carrier. About a week later, I contacted Terri again to see if I could make some adjustments to our billing date and she was able to get the billing organized to our liking. We've had High Desert Internet Service for approximately 8 years and our service has been excellent. We've only had two problems over those years and the technician came right out and checked out our system. The second time they upgraded our router box. I love having this internet service. My property is in an area with the old att being the only option. It was awful...constantly on and off. After switching, it has been really excellent. Very fast speed and great signal to the point I don't even need my extenders anymore in a 4 story property. read more

I have had nothing but trouble with them for the last few months, our service went out back in may of 2021 it took 6 days to get ahold of someone to come and switch it for the newer upgrade. then not even a month and a half goes by the new upgrade goes out as well. I called for a week and no one answering nor returning calls. then I started emailing but emails apparently was blocked from the company. bill done paid and not behind so why isn't it working. well after a few more days he emailed me back and sent two men out to collect the item, they never said when it was coming back they had to check it out at the warehouse to see what's wrong. ok well another week goes by still no calls no emails about what's going on. we've probably called 25 times or more and still nothing. it's going on the last week of July and yet no response from the guy. so I lost out on 350.00 installment fee plus. so why isn't he returning calls and emails when we did nothing wrong... it's not our fault that his service went out for no reason. so I'm reminding you this is the second of not providing what he claims in his terms of use. but if anyone does wrong he has all right taking stuff away how does that make sense when the customer is paid up over a mo in advance but the owner did not credited me more the account to show it but here I got my proof from my bank statements I paid twice in Dec of 2021. so it's ok they take from you smh ‍ he never gave no reasonable solution never called and told us what's going on just took it away and the two guys just about broke my fence when they tried hoping over it. no apology nothing. then he sends my cousin a nasty email to her, now the billing is issues with there end the company because last time I got told I didn't pay in April and he wanted to argue with me , then he looked and found my payment it didn't get placed in the books. so again why am I being punished for collecting my 75.00 owed to me by the company because they didn't credit me for a month ahead payment. why am I in trouble for calling about the faulty equipment that I didn't have not even 2 months. this guy is a real piece of work idk how much he charges everyone for installment fees but at the beginning it was suppose to be 400 they dropped it to 350 my cousin she got charged the 500 so how come installment prices are different. he also went and took her equipment off her roof without waiting for someone to be home. no calls no emails nothing. so he does as he pleases. I called last weds and no answer so apparently it's not coming back for whatever reason. I highly recommend no one use this company oh he also removed my first review off of Facebook as well so any reviews this one will probably be removed too. again for what reason the only person screwing anyone out of work or homeschooling is this guy and but if he thinks your screwing him he has all rights to tell you get snotty and when you try to show your proof he acts dumb I still dont know where your getting at. not very good with billing service nor with customer service and likes to rip people off in my personal opinion because I feel like I got ripped off and for what reasons. read more
