This review is for Katie Huff-…read more I love Katie! She's the only person in all of Nevada I trust with my hair. I went from having black hair to slowly getting it lighter. I feel like a new woman every-time I sit in her chair. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my hair to the point I do it myself.... so I'm SOOO glad I found Katie. I stalked her hair posts for over a year until I had the guts to make an appointment with her. For reference I asked for a balayage. We agreed to focus most of the blonde towards the front and leave more of my natural color towards the back. Katie's blending is spot on. No chunky or harsh lines. Thank you Katie for blessing my hair with your magical touch!

That's one of the perks of being a stylist, right?! But I recently moved to Carson City and needed someone to do my hair, which hasn't been touched up in about 6 months and was a hot mess, so I went to Revive and saw Graciela, the owner. I was nervous, but she did not disappoint! She did my baby lights exactly how I asked her to. Its beautiful and soft with a completely blended, but heavy hairline, that looks great up and really pops when it's down. I highly recommend her as a stylist, she was great to chat with, and I loved the salon overall too, it's super pretty yet homey and cozy.

The only problem I found is that she is not very clean. I have walked in a few times for a haircut and there is always hair on her chair. I brushed it off before I sat down. I went to her to have my blonde roots done Since I've had bad experiences in the past, it's always dreadful to get my hair done by someone new. Once she started foiling my hair I learned she hadn't done color in many years due to a skin allergy to the chemicals. This freaked me out!!! You haven't done color in years???? What??????? So I trusted the process but then came time for a toner. She had to ask for help on what to mix and how to put it on. She said she's been doing hair since 1988 but she seemed awfully timid So I got a nice trim. She does a good cut. But as she blow dried my hair., all could see was black roots. Not sure where the bleach went bc I walked right outta there with massive roots still. So once again, bad experience with a stylist. See pics posted of my hair the next day :-(
