It's not a franchise type of store it seems like a place where people with good taste and large budgets would come to. We came in looking for paintings and other art work but there was so much to look at. The staff was very friendly and did not hover over us allowing us to feel comfortable just looking at everything. We did find a few very nice pieces but had to measure our space before we could commit.

Last week I dropped in to check their inventory and found a shabby chic lamp for $10. Also they have plenty of sofas and dressers. But don't bother trying to park in the front as you'll just have to walk around to the back entrance.

I normally like going to Habitat for Humanity to find furniture and other items that I didn't know…read morethat I needed it. This store was filled with many different types of furniture and items that were donated. I find that the quality and selection of merchandise really depends on the neighborhood that they are located in. I really found that this store was a bit pricey. I found a couple of paintings that caught my eye and they were asking for a price that was more than it was worth because the original price tags were still on the back of the paintings. They were $10-$20 dollars cheaper then what Habitat for humanity was asking for. After seeing that it I lost some interest shopping in the store. Since I was now just in browsing mode it's interesting to see what was donated in this area.

Even at that we are still waiting for them to get the custom cut blinds completed. We had to send multiple emails and leave phone calls to get an update. We were told that Hunter Douglas had a machine that was broken. Also that they were "looking" for a template that went missing. In any event, they still have done nothing to make the situation more palatable. Andy, if you see this, here is an easy solution. How about offering a discount for the delays and problems we have encountered? They may be the largest dealer of HD blinds in Summit County, but they are extremely slow to respond after getting your deposit. I would never use them again and would stray away. An Absolutely horrible experience.

When they moved to their current location, we found them promptly, as we needed some leather dining room chairs! If you want to replace the high pressure furniture shopping routine for a great furniture shopping experience, including honest staff and prices, and fine, unique pieces, I highly recommend D'Amore Interiors.
