I spoke with Carrie who altered her schedule for that day to fit us in and we couldn't have had a more wonderful experience. She took the time to get us comfortable with our horses, I had Montana and my wife had Sonny, and we fed them treats, she showed us how to saddle them up properly, and patiently explained how to properly ride and handle our beautiful horses. She then led us on their scenic trail through flower-bedded fields, hilly horse paths, and by a scenic lake all while she took hundreds of pictures of us throughout our journey to cherish for years to come. Carrie has a beautiful farm, stable, and even an indoor area for riding lessons and parties. Her horses are all beautiful, well-kept, trained to handle all level of riders, and obviously well-loved and cared for. I really love horses and was interested in grooming and tacking the horse I am to ride. I have ridden the same horse so far and she is perfect for now. Cari is a wonderful instructor and I have learned many things I was never taught before. She is also very patient! She also cares about horses and takes great care of them and that was part of my decision to ride here. I have already signed up for additional lessons. I went on a trail ride yesterday for the first time and all I can say is it was incredibly awesome. We walked some and enjoyed the scenery and had the opportunity to canter as well. It was loads of fun and I look forward to going again. If you are looking for a place to learn to ride, continue your training and going on Trail rides this is definitely the place to go! Joe was super personable and professional. Payment was easy and via online which was great reserved our spots and we didn't have to worry about bringing money with us. It was truly a memorable experience. The guides were amazing and knew that some of us were nervous and on a horse for the first time. This has to be one of the best barns I have ever boarded my horse at. We moved my horse a few…read moremonths ago to this barn and everyone at the barn is very friendly. The management is doing an impressive job. They had just replaced all of the lighting in the indoor ring, and the ring has such good lighting and good lighting is in my opinion one of the best qualities to have in a barn. The footing in both the indoor and outdoor rings has some memory foam in it to help horses trip less often, and the outdoor ring is massive. It is bigger than the indoor that is how big it is. And the indoor is big as well. I can see that they are doing such a good job. In fact if you come earlier in the day, the barn tends to have a clean smell. The trainer, Jess is also really nice and helpful. The manager lives on-site, which makes me feel like the horses are all safe no matter what. What I mean is that the house is literally attached to the barn. There are two sides, one for Jess and the other is the same purpose, but Jess spends her time on the other side. The ring runs down the middle of the barns, connecting the two sides. The stalls are MASSIVE. The barn has two tack rooms and two feed rooms, one tack room on each side, one feed room on each side. Both of the tack rooms are massive, one bigger than the other but they are both perfect for everyone. This barn is completely devoid of birds, which is one of the best things since many barns tend to have many birds. There are three cats that help with that. Everyone at the barn is extremely kind and willing to help one another.

This was an excellent trip. I booked the tickets the day of and I don't recommend waiting because…read morethe earlier times were all taken and the time left was when it might rain. Luckily the rain time shifted and we arrived 20 minutes before our appointment for 3pm to sign waivers. We took pics with the horses that were there and we had time to pet them. I pet mouse the entire time and when we were assigned horses, my husband said i wanted mouse. I recommend not picking your own horse & just having a horse be assigned to you. The workers know the horses best. Mouse is on the slower side but I still enjoyed my time on him. They know which horse hasn't been out yet, has more energy for the ride, etc. All the horses did a great job and they're friendly. At the end of the ride, mouse turned around to look at me while I was still on him. He's so funny... I guess he wanted to see who kept talking him. On the ride we saw turkeys and deer. It was a nice experience. Would do again.
