I am so disappointed with this company. We have used them for years and always had a great experience. I went to order oil and I got a response from a different phone number with the answer No. Then I asked the next day and it said I can't help you. No one returned my calls or texts. I don't know what happened but it would have been nice to get a call back with some sort of explanation. I tried again to call and again I got I can't help you. We were almost out of oil at that point so thankfully I found someone else. Just in shock after all these yrs to just get dropped with no explanation. read more

Came and took his tanks without telling me. They were full of propane I had already paid for. Doug Higgins is a thief and unprofessional. I called, emailed and texted to be sure that someone else didn't come and steal them. No response at all. I will be bringing him to small claims court. read more

We constructed a new driveway during the summer with new landscaping and the first three deliveries of heating fuel by Higgins Energy were problematic. The driver tried to use a new parking space to get 20ft closer to the house to refill our tank (lazy...). The spot is not designed for a large truck. The driver drove over our new lawn each time he delivered fuel leaving large ruts that had to be fixed. On the third delivery, I asked the driver to stay on the driveway and avoid driving over my lawn again. He became very upset that I accused him of ruining the lawn, used inappropriate language and argued with me about whether he could use the parking spot or not. Then he got in his truck and drove over the spot once again, intentionally, leaving huge ruts and left without ever delivering me fuel in the middle of the winter with freezing temperatures. We were fortunate to find another company to bring us fuel or our pipes would have froze. I reported the incident to the owner, Doug, and he would not respond, address the damage, or communicate with me about this other than a short email saying I should find another source. Stay away from this company. They have lower prices, but that comes with drivers that dont respect their customers or their property. read more
