Tracy at the front desk was super helpful with check in and my questions about jewelry and what not. My one feedback and note would be to mention that visitors do have the option to "try-on" jewelry if they are torn between sizes or colors of jewelry because I think some newcomers wouldn't be aware they could do that if it's not mentioned. My friend asked to try a couple of jewel sizes and that was really helpful with decision making. (By try-on, you are just holding the jewelry piece up to yourself and checking yourself out in the mirror :P ) They offer titanium and gold jewelry here. Many beautiful pieces. They also sell saline spray (for $15 if I remember correctly) which I picked up since I was traveling and will be traveling again. Lacy pierced me and she was soooo amazing! She was really through with her explanations and I felt very comfortable with her. Everything went so smoothly and it was mostly painless - only a pinch in the process but no discomfort after the jewelry was already in. My friends and I left with super cute nostril piercings! "Regarding your wait time, management confirmed it was significantly shorter than stated" - attached are photos at 6:20pm on 4/11/26 aka the time i went in & upon arrival i asked to use the restroom, i took a selfie amongst other pics & the date & time can be found on each one. When leaving, i was asked for my information & to enroll in ur $5 off coupon which was at 8:16pm on 4/11/26. almost exactly two hours, not sure which manager looked into that but i did not randomly chose that number. Consultation - Tabitha asked via phone if i was given the option or made aware of threadless vs threaded jewelry, i was not nor was I given the option between the two. (Im assuming since you guys only carry threadless anyways.) Lacy said the piercings could get expensive when downsizing multiple sizes & when custom jewelry becomes a thing (she gave me an example of hers that have a wide flat back) which i understood. I was never told the jewelry on hand would be so flimsy or else i would have left with a spare set. or why wouldnt that be offered if its a known thing that theyre just going to break soon after? "our management team has reached out multiple times" - Tabitha called me on 4/20/26 at 2:03pm post yelp review & asking me to elaborate which i did. she apologized & said she would investigate & immediately followed up asking if i could "take down the yelp review" I initially agreed but im so glad i didnt. All that was asked of me was to pick a date & time & she will have someone replace the jewelry that broke at the el monte location but she would have to call me back & let me know if there was someone at that location who COULD do it & that she would call back. when she called back at 2:38pm 4/20/26 she stated ordering a threaded set would take 6-8 weeks & that she will order my downsize. we agreed on that solution & hungup. Then 4/28/26 Tabitha texts me & there was no solution so we could agree on so thanked her & left it at that (screenshots attached as well) "waived fees" - crazy cause you guys swear this is something special. when i get my nails done & one breaks theyre quick to fix it FOR FREE & not keep reminding me that breakage could happen nor badgering me that IM at fault for it/knew the risks. Theres no fee to waive if i want to put the jewelry in my own face for free which you guys denied me of because u didnt want to mail them to me. "we offered appointments at our other locations with free parking lots" - text attached of Tabithas convo but she definitely stated STREET parking, exactly how the LA location is so.. not sure where the "Convenience & Options" were. sorry it came to this Leo, maybe ask both sides next time instead of just listening to one.

I just wish I remembered the name of the woman who helped us because she made such an impression. She walked us through all the options at different price points in a way that felt completely neutral and respectful. There was no subtle steering toward something more expensive. It genuinely felt like whatever we chose was the right choice. Ivy, my piercer, was incredibly thorough and precise. I really want to stress how pleasant and painless this piercing was. I am talking pain level 0 out of 10. I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP. She is extremely clean in her process and talked me through every step so I always knew what was happening. Today, it has been 3 days since we got the tattoo and although the tattoo itself is small, has fine lines, and is on the wrist, it appears as if it has a smear/smudge on one of the corners on both tattoos. This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

When I first met her, I was in a really bad place with my health. I was living with some very serious health issues and was just overall struggling so much and truthfully, I felt like a foreigner in my own body. I first got a Wicked tattoo done by her and when I walked into Supersweet, I was so nervous. I had many other tattoos but I was just in a very vulnerable place and at that time, everything made me anxious. When she sat down with her designs, what she had come up with took my breath away. It was so much better than I could have ever imagined and it was the most stunning design I'd ever seen. As we sat down to get started, she could tell that I was nervous and was so gracious, gentle, compassionate and understanding, and really took her time to make sure I felt safe. This meant the world to me. After that, I was scheduled to have a tattoo with her again, and I needed to cancel bc I ended up having emergency back surgery. She was, again, so kind, loving, understanding and supportive. I have since come in and gotten quite a few more tattoos with her and for the first time in so long, my body feels like my own again and I am excited to look down and see my beautiful tattoos done by her. It's $10 for the post and $5 for the piercing disc. Whenever Chontel isn't there, Lara is there, and she is also just as amazing and insightful as Chontel! He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. Maybe this tattoo thing is an addiction and will keep you coming back for more.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. Unexpected Charges and Lack of Transparency…read more I booked my appointment in person on Tuesday 7/15 because I wasn't sure what to select online for Gel-X removal. I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Had concerns with my first gel-x experience. It was painful. The tech didn't listen to my requests…read more I did. I was unhappy with the service but still paid full price and tipped accordingly. I came back for a refill, and two days later was in some of the most pain I've ever been in due to a cuticle infection. I voiced concerns that my skin was being cut, but they were shrugged off. After coming into the salon to show them the infection, the front desk staff was polite and helpful advising they would reach out to the owner and share photos they took of the nail. Days passed and I followed up again via phone as I didn't hear back. The owner of the salon requested PHI pertaining to the infection, including what Rx I was on, in order to even consider a refund. Initially, a gift card for the amount spent on the service was offered in lieu of a refund. I mentioned I was not comfortable receiving another service, and received a call back letting me know the owner was willing to grant a refund. Overall, the back and forth took about a week and a half. I was new to the entire gelx process, and am posting this review to let anyone else looking to embark on that journey know they should ask questions and voice their concerns. There are seemingly many happy patrons, but this was my individual experience.

So, lol, I have 9 tattoos by Sketch since August! Each time I went home, looked closely, and was amazed by his line work. 16 tattoos and 8 artists (I really appreciate all of their works, except for 1 ) later, I really have to say, just go to Sketch. Why? First of all, his skills and work ethic are top notch! Second, he says what it is. He tells you str8 out what will be good or not, and he works with you closely. His focus while tattooing is very sharp--his eyes just glue onto his work! His customer service skills make you feel very at ease--I was there a couple times while other customers were getting tattoos, and yup, they were all laughing and saying how happy they were with Sketch's work! Me and my mom wanted to see Sergio today to get our tattoos. My mom got something custom and more unique something that she drew and I got a colorful butterfly with a semi-colon symbol as the body to cover up a scar some from self harm. The shop is very nice, clean and cool with air conditioning especially with all this heat. Sergio told us that he has been tattooing for 13 years and with such great work that he has done for us today we can tell that he is very well seasoned. The atmosphere laid back. Myself and three of my friends walked in on a Saturday afternoon to hidden temple. Sketch was finishing up with an appointment with somebody but advised us to stick around if we wanted to get tatted. We didn't have a clear vision of what we wanted to get but Sketch was able to design us a tattoo on spot with his iPad. Sketch is a real cool guy the tattoo came out wonderful. My artist was Hailin and he's a mastermind, something that you literally see out of a movie. He doesn't use stencils because he draws the design directly onto your arm, envisioning and visualizing the perfect piece in his head. My jaw literally dropped to the other side of earth when I saw the product from marker (not stencil) to the actual tattoo. His designs and ideas use your references and he custom makes a 1:1 piece and design that will literally exceed your expectations. Another note: he let me eat a lot of his white rabbit candy besides it tasting good, I needed something to bite hard on in the painful areas I'd rate this 3 billion stars out of 5. Hailin was such a cool guy to work with and talk to, he's super cool and is extremely skilled.

The studio is impeccably clean- always new equipment and protective gear used. I can't say much about the other artists at the studio, but I've seen their portfolios and they all have unique styles. I only have used George for my own tattoos (8 large pieces and a chest cover up). I love the way he works. I give him my idea of what I want, location and general size. And he will sit with me and do the design while we make modifications together. He always makes her. I am completely satisfied before we start. Once we did a 12 hour day, and he never rushed me, himself, or seemed annoyed with the time. As long as I have ideas and space on my skin, I will keep returning here to get tattooed by George.

His work doesn't just sit on the skin; it captures character, energy, and story all at once. You can tell a lot about an artist by how they paint, and he portrayed my symbolism perfectly. I really appreciated how patient she was during the stencil process as I was trying to decide the best placement that felt right. It was especially wonderful getting to chat together while she was tattooing me! I give her flowers to anyone who asks about my tattoo. Her work is so beautifully clean and well-done, and I'm so happy with it! It's truly my favorite one I've gotten so far! I'm really wanting to come back and get another tattoo from her :) The studio is also very clean and the space feels super loved and cared for! He worked with me before the appointment and understood exactly what I wanted. On the day of the tattoo, I was still really anxious since it was my first one, but he answered all of my questions and addressed every concern before we began. We worked through different sizes, and he made sure I was 100% happy with everything. The studio was beautiful and very clean, and he was so reassuring throughout the entire session. I'm writing this review two weeks later, and I'm so happy with how it healed. It healed beautifully and looks exactly how I hoped it would. The first photo is right after, the second is at one week, and the third is today at two weeks. Kaho is seriously such a talented artist, and I 100% recommend going to him. You won't regret it. He would offer me beverages and snacks during breaks and checked in throughout the actual tattooing to ensure I was ok. His work, much like his studio, is clean and intentional. We stuck on 4 to 5 different stencil sizes to find the right fit, and most importantly, he made sure I fully understood the phrase I wanted. We connected over Chinese cultural foods, digital art, and b-boying/choreography. I am happy with the work and it is holding up great after a year. Can't wait to get another piece from him. Highly recommend.

I am very late on this post due to having some losses in my family it has taken me a while to…read morerecover and be able to write this. First off I will start with how professional Wulf is from the start of the process with booking the appointment all the way until the final part of cleaning it up and getting the best pictures of the artwork he is hands down the best at what he does. I have been going to Wulf since May of 2021 and will always go back when I need more work done. His first piece of art he did for me was a Wu-Tang Clan W with a very nice touch of adding in an old school boombox within it to make it era appropriate and he killed it all the way down to the minor details. The second piece of art he did for me was a tribute to my first dog Teggy. She was with me for 15 years but most importantly she was there for me for all the worst moments in my life and thankfully because of her never leaving my side I was always able to get back up and keep moving forward. When I came to Wulf with the idea and I told him the back story of Teggy he said it would be an honor to do it that meant so much to me because he never met her a day in her life but he made sure to put every single detail about her that he could it came out amazing I am forever grateful for the work and passion he put in to making Teggy look as beautiful as she did when she was still here with me. A few days ago I recently lost another dog his name was Blue and I definitely will be hitting up Wulf to have him do his magic so I can have Blue with me forever. I will always make sure that whenever I need any work done I will always go back to Wulf because I know I will always leave knowing I had the best artist put his all in to his work. For anyone in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas make sure you hit him up for all your artwork needed and for anyone else that doesn't mind traveling to the west coast to get amazing work done I highly recommend Wulf Tattoos at 1upinkwest for all your needs.
