We did an August stay in a 14th floor unit. The past couple of years, we stayed down the beach…read moretowards St. Andrews - we thought we'd mix it up this year and try something else. Our youngest had been dealing with light sensitivity and migraines, so the indoor pool was a factor for us. Reserving the unit was easy. Check-in was fast and simple. One thing that REALLY stood out here was the lack of "traffic" on Saturday when we checked in. Unlike other places that require a Saturday check in/out, Princess doesn't require that. For us, that meant no craziness and waiting for luggage carts or elevators. We were able to park in front, unload into carts, and grab an immediate elevator. I was worried being on the 14th floor (great view), but having instant elevator access was a huge boon! The unit we stayed in was just right. Nice size (2 bedroom unit) with all the right spaces (2 bathrooms, living room, dining area, nice-sized kitchen). Of course, each unit has it's own perks/issues - in this case, the kitchen could have had more utensils or storage containers. Small issues - not a factor, really. What I reall like about The Princess is the layout. The pools are on the SIDE of the building, so when you're on your balcony overlooking the beach and gulf, you don't have a noisy pool straight below you. That makes lower units more enticing - less noise. Also, the building is very close to the beach - not much for sea grass - so you can be staking your claim on the white sands without much of a trek. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed it. The game room was a nice perk, though we didn't do more than a couple games of billiards (the table was in rough shape, but playable). If weather turned nasty, it was a nice backup plan. The pools were clean and enjoyable.

There will probably be lots of construction going on all summer in PCB area. Resort construction limited access to pool & beach, the noises (metal saws on concrete & jack hammers, cringe worthy) the only 2 sunny days of the week ran us out of the condo but usually done around 5pm. Some clanking above our room ALL NIGHT 1 night from construction cables hanging down the bldg. I wish they would've given us construction notice prior to our stay, we could've gone elsewhere or booked later in year. This corner unit (0412) 3bdrm, offers great beach views with dolphins nearly every day. It was beautifully decorated and spacious for us (6 adults) with a wrap around patio. Kitchen comes fully stocked with a blender, could use a strainer though. Extra supplies in closets such as beach toys, lawn chairs etc... Lvg room has 2 recliners and 2 coaches of which 1 unfolds into a dbl bed. The 2 king beds are high/tall but there are 2 step stools in the front living area for this, otherwise pretty comfy. The 2nd king could use a light in the closet. There are 2 blow up mattresses and pump in the master closet. The master closet is big enough for a tiny bedroom in a pinch. The patio wraps around and all bedrooms have sliding doors that open to patio. The patio furniture could use updating, as is 2 chairs fit the picnic table, 2 chairs are too tall for the table, 2 nice plastic loungers and 2 wooden old unstable loungers that really should go in trash. Beach chairs/umbrellas do NOT come with this condo as advertised. You can rent them on the beach for $40 a set/day ($30 w/ military discount) Host was ALWAYS very nice and accommodating. Host did give us a discount on the condo due to all the construction. I would've given 5 stars if not for construction. You go to the beach for rest and relaxation not construction noises. We will stay here again but we will call ahead to check for construction.

It was super clean and had all the accommodations we needed for a great stay! The Treasure Island Resort staff was so friendly and made everything super easy & smooth so we could just relax during our stay. The condo sits right on the beach with only steps away from the water. The ocean was clear and the sand was super clean! Our balcony overlooked the ocean from our bedroom & the living room area which was just breathtaking! 504w We were told there might be occasional noise . 4 out of…read more7 days we were awaken at 8AM to a hammer drill in concrete. Do you know how loud that is? There are very few noises louder on a construction site. 50 men and 7-10 trucks was a mess. Sometimes we had to park across the street and walk our groceries back across 98 while the workers made themselves at home all over the property. Id have canceled my trip had I know it would be like this! All we asked for in compensation was beach chairs to no avail. Mold and failing sheetrock on the ceilings from the units above leaking in the bathroom and kitchen. When you took a hot shower you could smell the mold pouring of of the sheetrock. Can't imagine the black mold behind the sheetrock. You can see where they paint over the new mold every week. A brown nugget of material on the vanity, a pubic hair in the bed and hand wiped plates in the cupboard. Our feet turrned black walking around the unit. We have stayed at Seachase atleast 6 times prior but this place has gone downhill. We nicknamed this area as "Meth"ama City. It is dirty rundown and doesn't feel safe. If I were bringing daughters I would keep a close eye on them due to the heavy concentration of day laborers working on this job not to mention the rif raf passing through on foot daily! All we wanted were some chairs on the beach to compensate us and all we were offered were the same coupons they already offered us that they get for free to get people in local attractions. Piss poor management piss poor place made for a piss poor vacation! Thanks Seachase ! Not planning to revisit this corner of Meth"ama City again! Good Riddance! The company has posted below my review and it's total lies I have pictures. I also have the emails and I threatened noone. Hammer drill 8 AM 4 days in a row. Yeah Im just a mean old customer upset about beach chairs. The condition of the place was unacceptable and I guess that's why it's going to take 2 years to complete the repairs. I can post the pictures or send them to this rental company. My review is 100% factual. It's funny they didn't deny the mold issue which had everyone in our unit coughing the entire time. Back in home no cough or breathing issues. Maybe the PCB health department should come analyze the mold problem. In a place as hot and humid as Panama City there are legions of mold growing inside the walls of this unit. I have been here 6 times so I chose this place many times not the same. Maybe in 2 years when they complete the project it will be nice again I don't know but the area is lousy and run down. If you look at the review before mine for unit 504w you will see those people felt the same way. It's SCVR not I that is the problem. Must suck having to call people liars on Google every day because your place is dilapidated! Came out one day to stucco all over the hallway. One day the elevator stopped with the cleaners onboard and they didn't think we would get it going again. It was a mess every day somewhere. Definitely don't walk around barefooted. Glass, splinters and stucco around the property. Pool gates are in disrepair. Watched one of these wonderful craftsmen that work there drop a glass light cover and shattered infront of the elevator and saw various glass shards in front of the elevator over the following days. They want to call me a liar I can go on and on. The black mold is definitely a health issue that's the biggie! They offered the same tickets the offered on email as working with guests to resolve a problem that's a joke right? How about offering a mold remediation company a sheetrock crew a new refrigerator or just some beach chairs instead of the free ticket vouchers you recieve from local business for free. You did nothing but deny the situation and poo poo my complaints! I didn't threaten nor was I irate. I'm a real man and handled the situation with my 2 girls. Now I'm irate and you did your best to get me here! The rusty chairs on the porch and the deadbolt doesn't work so we had no way to lock out anyone while we slept were a nice touch too!

The condo was very clean and stocked with plenty of little soaps, shampoos, dish soap, paper towels, fresh dish cloths and sponges, etc. Pros: the beach views from every room are amazing. The entire back wall of every room in each of the condos is solid floor to ceiling glass with sliding doors. The location is perfect. The beach in front of the condo is miraculously uncrowded... a very calm and peaceful spot. Never had to wait more than 10 seconds for an elevator and did not notice any weird smell as other have said. Easy beach access with two rental chairs and umbrella setups for $40 each per day.... and they make multi-day deals. The king bed is very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are actually very luxurious and the appliances are new and high quality. Cons: there have been several high quality updates to 704E such as the kitchen and bathrooms but the furniture needs to be replaced, the pillows on the beds in the double bedroom are completely flat, the sliding glass door in the main room is almost impossible to move... it takes all of your strength and body weight (maintenance staff are coming tomorrow to work on it), and it's doesn't get very cool in the double bedroom... although there is a fan that helps.
