This cafe is super cute and has a terrific vibe. We went here on a rainy day because it was close to our hotel. The workers are so sweet, and the coffee is amazing. You can get the coffee to stay or for take out. If you decide to stay, they serve it on a board with a very small glass of water to cleanse your palate. Wowza at the quality of their lattes. They were so smooth and delicious. I got the Houjicha latte, since I'd never heard of that before; from Wikipedia: "Hōjicha is a Japanese green tea. It is distinctive from other Japanese green teas because it is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal. It is roasted at 150° C to prevent oxidation and produce a light golden colour, as opposed to other Japanese teas which are steamed." This flavor is decaf, and it tasted mild and matcha-y. It's a little different though, so it was interesting to try. It was subtle and creamy, and it went down easy. Also did not taste like it had any sugar. This was a relaxing, hipster little cafe to stop and chill at for some time, and to try some coffee and pastries. This cafe prides themselves with directly imported matcha from Japan and also single origin coffee. They do not disappoint at all. The matcha latte is top shelf, nutty and grassy (without going too bitter), the V60 pour over of single origin Ethiopian beans is fruit forward without being acidic, just how I like it. The pastries are good in general. Space is a bit tight but that's how it is in Barcelona. Definitely a bit of a hipster vibe going, with American funk and soul as the music of choice being played while we were there. Totally recommended. read more

Fantastic cafe for a quick breakfast and coffee. Colorfully decorated with friendly and welcoming staff. I highly recommend Hidden Cafe. I ordered the Greek energy bowl and an iced latte. The presentation was lovely as was the quality. Side note: It seems possible to come here for a quick study, but likely not the best option depending on your needs. The food is hipster fare with "bao" via a Catalan filter served a few night a week and a menu of hipster standards like avocado toasts, healthy bowls of stuff and bocodillas. The prices are high for Barcelona but low for travelling hipster and business folks with all menu items under 6 euros.
