Located just down the road from the golf course and Selma, Bailey's Place has been beautifully landscaped to hold events, wedding ceremonies, etc. I was visiting here for a wedding. It's a gorgeous setup with an arbor, that the bride and groom got married under. There was seating set up in front of the arbor for guest. Behind the arbor was a cabin, that can be used for wedding party to get ready. But also can be used for receptions or having the wedding in. I believe this was the backup if it had rained. There isn't necessarily a parking lot, but a grassy area this is designated for parking. And lots of trees for shading.

I highly recommend coming to check it out if you like bourbon. Just note it is limited tickets and you have to purchase online. They're facility is very clean and well maintained. Nice bar downstairs. Plenty of parking in the gravel parking lot which is well maintained (sports car friendly). The owners, Eric and Alyssa, are very friendly. The cash bar was way over priced. We were there for a full week. The spacious rooms were very clean, the property was well maintained, the staff were very friendly and Tom's cook to order breakfast was awesome. We were in town for the Junior PGA golf tournament and it was so nice to have a hearty breakfast every morning to start on a good note. Squeezed in a couple games of pool and had a delicious filet for dinner on our last night there. We loved getting to know Chip too. Obviously I highly recommend The Whittaker Inn.

The restrooms are tidy and well kept. The kitchen was a useful resource as well. The architecture and design are very attractive; it's a historic town, so many of the buildings are Federal style architecture. The staircase is well kept and the artwork inside is beautiful. It's a great little spot to host about 40 people comfortably. There is a beautiful fountain just outside the building and many shopping and dining opportunities within walking distance. They also host a farmers market next to this building, on Broadway Street, Saturday mornings.
