Clean space, tons of parking, great hours, lockers and showers, plenty of equipment and group classes (if that's your thing). Free weights, racks, machines, cardio for days and lots of open space plus a functional training area with a sled, landmine, battleropes, boxes, kettlebells, etc. Not to mention they have a huge gymnasium area for basketball and the members I interacted with were very friendly. Overall, great gym and at only $12 for a single day use - I'd definitely visit again! Thank you BAC!

I had my second visit to Hot Yoga Bowling Green this morning (last time was a year ago) and I'm…read morestill a fan. I would definitely return during a future visit to Bowling Green. Like all good yoga studios, the atmosphere is very friendly, supportive, and welcoming. The yoga is HOT. I took the class "Hot Yoga Journey" today, and it was 107°F with a little added humidity. Yowza! What a wonderful way to start the day. The drop-in price is typical at $15, plus anything else you might need (rent a towel or mat, or buy a bottle of water). Bring your university ID for a student discount. I appreciated the individual encouragement and attention I got during my class this morning. A good instructor knows just when to step in with a correction, a pep talk, or to just give you some space. I felt like I had just the right amount it support today. As if this writing, Hot Yoga Bowling Green is the only yoga studio I've visited in the area, so I can't compare it to any competitors, but I believe it's the only hot studio in town.

When most people think of amusement parks and coasters in the Kentucky area, they either think of…read moreKentucky Kingdom or the out of state parks Holiday World, Kings Island, or Dollywood. But while Beech Bend isn't as nearly as well known or have as high profile coasters as those parks, it shouldn't be ignored. This is because Beech Bend has an excellent thrilling coaster in Kentucky Rumbler, which is a relatively smooth wooden coaster that is filled with a mix of forces and airtime that will make you want to go on it again and again. Additionally, Beech Bend has some very interesting flat rides you generally only see at fairs, but here you ride them over and over again instead of having to pay per ride. Plus, admission is quite affordable, especially if you buy it in advance, and parking is free, so Beech Bend will not set you back a lot. With that in mind, Beech Bend, while it lacks the high profile coasters of the parks that surround it, is a nice, charming, and affordable small park that should not be missed if you are in the area.
