If you live in the area, or are visiting from out of town, this is an area you'll certainly want to check out. Great for trout fishing!

The park has done a considerable amount of updating this year. New concrete for two places with…read morepicnic tables, little shade overhead and large heaters topped off with a TV. New washers and dryers, credit card or app to pay. They have re-done some of their water valves so they don't freeze and if they do it's easier to repair. Gravel around the park as well, so they (Doug) has done quite a bit. Schedule well in advance, busy park.

We reserved a pull through because we are towing a vehicle on a trailer the clean out is at the very beginning of the pull in we had to use every extension to get tot he clean out hat we had. The site was really not level at all so then it would drain to the clean out because it was up hill and very far away. It was a process to clean out the hose and get all of the water out we had to lift the pipe 4' off the ground to get it to drain doing this caused the hose to come apart and got all over myself. Needless to say I wasn't very happy. They need to move this to the center of the pull throughs.

The office staff was super understanding and gave us a full refund for the remainder of our stay. They had an awesome bar and, in the next building over, a nice recreational area with a pool table, fireplace and several other game options. We did misunderstand that the bar had some limited food options. All in all we decided the wording on their website was just as little confusing regarding the food options and about boat rentals (as opposed to guided fish trips). But if we had not been wanting the pool option on this trip, this was a really nice place and we would definitely consider returning!
