I had a sport-related knee injury that was causing a lot of pain, which also lead to back problems and weight-gain issues. Worst of all, these issues were prohibiting me from golfing, hiking, and lifting weights. During my first visit, I realized these guys are not normal, meaning they are not what I was used to. Dr. Dee Stevens conducted the most thorough exam I had ever received. He then brought in Dr. Karl Brown and together they looked at the X-Rays, measurements, and range of motion tests. Dr. Brown then spent a significant amount of time asking multiple questions about any health-related issues I was facing. He wanted to know every detail. He even asked what supplements I was taking and looked up the ingredients on each one. Who does that? It turns out that one of them was interacting with another supplement which was causing me issues. He also gave me some help with how to lose the weight I had gained. These doctors were so attentive to detail and spent so much time on me that I thought, how do they make any money? In all of my other experiences with chiropractors and doctors, I felt like I was in a cattle chute and was being rushed through as quickly as possible. My visits to A.I.M. have been the exact opposite of what I had experienced with other doctors. Well, instead of having knee surgery, Dr. Stevens and Dr. Brown concluded that I would be a good candidate for Platelet-rich plasma (PRP). They explained how Dr. Brown would withdraw some of my blood, then spin it in a centrifuge, which would separate my blood's platelets. A concentration of millions of my own platelets would then be injected into my knee which would accelerate the healing of my injured knee. I told them I wanted to go home and do some research on it and that I would get back to them. In my research, I found that Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant, and many other athletes have utilized P.R.P in their recoveries. I came to the conclusion that before exploring knee surgery, that I would try P.R.P. first. After the procedure, which was really not very painful, Dr. Brown suggested that I just take it easy for the next few days. Over those days, I received multiple texts from Dr. Brown checking up on me. Within a week's time, I really started to see a major improvement in my knee. After three weeks and 22 pounds lighter, I went back into A.I.M. where Dr. Stevens reexamined my knee and was amazed at how well it was healing. However, I was still having some back pain. He spent a lot of time taking X-Rays and examining my issue. He also adjusted my spine and showed me ways to strengthen that area of my back. I was really impressed when he got on the table and demonstrated a stretch that I had never seen before. It turns out that the stretch he taught me has literally changed the health of my back. I'm 51 years old and I like being active and with the help of A.I.M. I have learned that I can continue doing the things that I really enjoy. Two months later, after my initial care at A.I.M., I am 32 pounds lighter, and my knee and back, are not only without pain, but they are actually much stronger. I am now back to playing golf, tennis, basketball, hiking, and lifting weights. During these 2 months, Dr. Brown has texted me 11 times to check on me. My daughter recently had a health issue that I texted Dr. Brown to get his advice. He immediately called me and explained that the symptoms she was having were serious and he told us to go to the emergency room asap. It turns out he was right and we are grateful that he helped us realize the severity of her situation. He then referred us to a doctor that he trusts, who would be able to help with her situation. He is outstanding, he takes the time to listen to what is going on with my body, explains what he is adjusting and when I have left his office, I can stand straight up, pain free and the knowledge that if I am bad pain, he has made the time for me to become Pain Free again. The Office manager is name is SAM (or Samantha) but they are such a great team. When you make an appointment, it seems that they are always on time but you never feel that you are being rushed, they just want to take the time to make sure you are properly taking care of. I highly recommend Dr. Jon Stucky and have referred other Veterans to his office due to the Quality of Care provided.

I spoke to the most friendliest receptions and explained my situation and immediately transferred the phone to Dr. Ohling. I'm sure he could tell it was serious and how desperate I was in finding help. His schedule was booked but he managed to squeeze my my partner in. Now that's compassion. That's what you call a real Doctor. I also want to mention before calling Peterson Wellness Center I took my loved one to the ER twice but that was a complete waste of time. The IBS flare up causes severe nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. Needless to say the ER was absolutely no help and to be honest the lack of compassion didn't help the situation. I literally was worried for his life. Dr. Ohling gave him a bag of amino acids, vitamins/nutrients intravenously which helped. He's been back multiple times and is finally getting his health back. I don't think he'd be alive right now if we never came across you guys. Words can't explain the gratitude. Thanx for actually caring and having such an amazing staff.

I have been to many medical facilities in the past three years and it is the first time I was asked to be the medical records clerk for myself. I use a smart phone and a laptop, but not a tablet. My husband tried to help but we could not get the correct info input. Everywhere else, someone took my info and they input it into the system that they know well and were trained on. I am to get an injection in my neck. When I expressed my apprehension to get the procedure when my medical information was incomplete, I was told to "Take it or leave it". "The info does not matter anyway." Gives them an out if there is a problem, right? It was my responsibility to get all relevant information into their system, not them. I am all for progress but when it comes to medical issues, their data collection needs to be user friendly. They have to know that patient inputted data has to be at high risk of being inaccurate. Apparently they do not care about accuracy. How does that impact care at this facility?

Probably the strange bed and pillow I've been using for the past 10 days did it. I called first thing and got an appointment with Dr. Johnson a few hours later. He was professional, friendly, thorough and absolutely wonderful! Not only did he fix my neck/shoulder issues, but he took the time to adjust my entire body, from head to toe! I've had a rotator cuff injury for the past year and even after PT and special treatments, it still causes me issues when I sleep on occasion. I mentioned this and he asked if he could adjust my shoulder. I agreed and although it was a little uncomfortable, I enjoyed a peaceful night's rest. Doctor Johnson is a wonderful chiropractor who always takes the time necessary to ensure that any areas of concern get their proper adjustment. He uses enough pressure to get a great adjustment, but he is careful to ensure that no harm is done. He has been able to resolve issues that I have had with my neck, upper back, lower back, knees, feet and hands. I have referred many people to him in the past and I will continue to do so.

You can't go into the hospital without a mask. Grocery workers wear masks. I'm 82 and if I get it I probably could not get into ICU if I needed to. Omicron is infecting people who have been fully vaccinated. You may only get a mild case but people are dying from this. You may only loose your sense of smell and taste as many have.
