Delicious food. We came in on weekend and the employees (might be the owners) were nice and friendly. Delicious seaweed salad, miso soups and all the rolls we had. We also ordered kids meal - fries and nuggets (surprised they had them!) And the nuggets were great. Next day, Monday we came in again and orders some take outs but this time there were other employees. They were not that friendly and even looked like they are rolling eyes when we asked for things. They forgot to add ketchup, any utensils and the soy sauce! We were on the way driving and missing spoon for the soup and no soy sauce for pretty dry Philadelphia roll was disappointing. The ketchup we came to get after picking up the order was all bubbly and tasted sour. Actually also the tofu tasted very sour, like marinated or hot bad. Not sure. Therefore taking off 1 star.

We come from a place with sushi on every corner so it was a surprise to not have more selection in the area. We're glad there wasn't though because Hibachi Express was amazing! Every roll we enjoyed had its own flavor and the seafood was fresh or freshly fried! Service was not the friendliest and just a little slow but the sushi chef was young, perhaps new? We didn't get our fried rice and dumplings until we were all done and reminded them but that worked out okay, we had it for leftovers the next day! A must try is the Fantasy Island, crazy good!

My family and I were staying at the Legoland, Pirate hotel property for a few days on a family vacation. We didn't have reservations for dinner at their on-site location, so, we decided to take a look on Yelp for local restaurants. Hibachi Express popped up immediately on the search and was really close to the Legoland resort. Hibachi Express is located in a large shopping plaza with spacious amount of parking. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted. Upon reviewing the menu, the restaurant offered a wide variety of yakisoba, sushi, fried rice, and much more! We decided to order the following Kids Meal - Chicken with Fried Rice Steak Yakisoba Chicken Katsu Edamame Fried Cheesecake Sushi roll We were provided a number. Open seating with tables and booths are available. Fountain cups were provided to fill at the soda machine. After approximately 10 minutes the food came out to our table. Wow!! The portion size was extremely large and the service was quick! The kids meal was the size of a normal adults meal. The chicken was juicy and my daughter really enjoyed the fried rice. The Edamame was yummy as well! The Steak Yakisoba flavor profile was perfect. It wasn't overly fried. There was plenty amount of steak within the Yakisoba, and a good amount of vegetables, such as onions, included. The Fried Cheesecake was delicious! The slice was large and there was also complementary whipped cream with chocolate sauce on the side. Overall, I was really impressed with the service at this restaurant! The food was great and the price was quite inexpensive for our meal, less than $50.00.

Fantastic hibachi! My son and I had the chicken hibachi and a tuna role and salmon role. Really good sushi, but highly recommend the hibachi. High quality chicken and the vegetables we done perfectly (retained some crispness). We have a camp at River Ranch and we will be visiting regularly from now on. Quality: 10 of 10 (see above) Speed: 10 of 10 (in and out in like 5 mins) Service: 8 of 10 (fast service, just not extraordinary general service).

vegetables seem like it was all frozen veggie's. Way too much sauce on the salmon and over cooked.

Unfortunately, the experience quickly turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. Our server, Eva, was extremely disrespectful and had an attitude from the beginning. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but the level of hostility we experienced was completely unacceptable. The menus we were initially given did not include a kids menu, so I ordered a lunch chicken special for my child. Later, after seeing my niece's kids meal arrive, I politely asked if I could switch my child's order before the food was made. Eva immediately told me "No." When I questioned her response, she called me an "asshole." Yes -- an actual customer was spoken to that way. I reported the issue to the manager expecting professionalism and resolution, but instead the manager was just as rude and disrespectful. When we asked for another server, he responded with profanity and hostility instead of trying to fix the situation. We were not asking for discounts or free food -- we simply wanted respectful service and a different server. After being told we were "more than welcome to leave," I did exactly that. The remaining members of our party -- a group of 21 people -- packed up and left as well. This was by far the worst restaurant experience I've had in Orlando. I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant, especially for large parties or families looking to celebrate special occasions. Customer service and basic respect should never be optional.

Tonight my husband and I ordered the yaki chicken udon and were not pleased with the taste. The noodles were extremely oily. We asked to return it and we didn't want to replace it. We were told that we had to replace it or still pay for the food that was inedible in our opinion. Forcing a guest to buy a replacement is something that neither of us has never experienced. Until this visit, we have always enjoyed our dining experience. Being forced to either pay for food we found inedible or pay to replace it with something else is just wrong. Most all of their dishes are delightful, but just be aware that if you do not care for the meal that you ordered, be prepared to be forced to pay for a replacement. They took our original order off of the check but told us we had no choice, but to replace it.

The bowl was wayyyyyy too sweet for me. Too much of the sauce. But the rice and chicken were pretty good. The pork belly is grilled and not seasoned much. So added it to the bowl to calm the sweet and it worked well. Overall, this place isn't worth queuing for, but still pretty good considering its location. Solid 6/10 for me.

Now for the food! We had gotten the beef skewer and chicken skewers as appetizers and let me tell you they were probably the best meat skewers that I've had in a Izakaya style Japanese restaurant. The steak was so tender and had great flavor, same with the chicken! The sauce was good, maybe a bit too heavy on the sauce but good pairing! 5/5 The tuna flight was . So good and the cuts of tuna was so tender and was amazing, good garnishes on top! 5/5 The rolls, we got a couple Yellow Fever: it was good, I'm not sure if I was a fan of the asparagus but it was good to have every now and then every other bite or so but not every time. It did have a slight kick to it but I liked it. Distinguished Gentleman: was great. The meat was tender and it had good flavor and my kids enjoyed it as a more kid friendly sushi, but I also enjoyed one bite that I was able to sneak before the kids devoured it. Shrimp Tempura roll (specially made for allergies): Standard goodness! I also almost forgot, I had gotten King Salmon nigiri and also eel nigiri, salmon was good! Normal salmon vibes 4/5 but the eel...probably the most disappointing menu item tbh. Tasted like the frozen Asian grocery store eel, just underwhelming and not a little tough. 2/5 wouldn't order again. but Overall, it was everything was great, we had good service and good food! It's a bit expensive but I Would come back!

Sushi Tomi is one of the original secret Asian American staples of Orlando that opened in 2013 back when Orlando was known as Mickey Mouse's backyard. It's decently priced, albeit far, and provides a nice sense of comfort. We went on a week night and they were still super busy. Located closer to East Colonial area, it's at 8463 S John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32819. Their claim to fame are their bento boxes and different lunch and dinner sets, which is to say you will leave full with a balanced meal. I won't lie, I have been wanting to go for the longest time. I felt like some kid pressing his face up against a window, just watching everyone go and enjoy their meal. So this was really great for me, personally. I got their dinner tempura and sushi set. The set came with miso soup and salad as well as a variety of meats and veggies that had been tempura coated and fried with a side of rice. I also ordered a sparkling jelly sake drink, a tamago nigiri and eel nigiri. My overall portion costed about $45 without tip. The set gets a 8.5/10 rating from me. I kinda wish I just went with the tempura set instead of trying to have the best of both worlds. Not that the sushi was bad or anything, but the tempura was really the star of the show. It was so fresh and crispy and light and amazing with the sauce they served it with. The sushi was fine and well made, I just had heart eyes for the tempura. The tamale nigiri and the eel nigiri was good, but not the best I have ever had. They had other things on their menu, but I really recommend going here for Japanese basic meals or comfort meals. I think it's not dazzling, but provides you with a sense of comfort. Not to mention the service was amazing, and it truly was authentic and not gentrified. My overall rating is 9/10 for the whole experience. I will be back whenever I am in the area.
