Found Hibachi Express after a quick search and decided to give it a try. I ordered the half size steak which came with fried rice and vegetables. It was incredible! Really fresh, flavorful and 100% worth the price. I also ordered two vegetable spring rolls that were good as well. I came here wanting something quick to bring back home. This place is brand new and is in the shopping center in front of the Wal-Mart. There is room for a dine in area as well. The drive though was packed and long lines of cars. I ordered Hibachi Steak entree with came with veggies and fried rice. I also ordered House special noodles that came with Steak, Shrimp, Chicken, and veggies. Both tasted pretty decent especially for a fast food restaurant. It's almost as good as the Kani House as somebody else mentioned. I did enjoy the steak as it was very juicy and flavorful. They provided me with the 2 huge containers of Yum Yum sauce which is like spicy mayonnaise. Lol. I definitely will be back again for some Asian take out in the future. read more

First visit and I ate inside. The inside is very plain and cold feeling, which is fine I guess because most people I hear get their food to-go typically via their drive-thru. I ordered the Hibachi chicken which comes with fried rice. It was fine, but nothing crazy good. Best part was the chicken egg roll that I also ordered - it was fresh and delicious. 11.28.2021 Our first visit here. Gave it a try, based on some of the reviews. We ordered, Half General Tso's Chicken, Cheese Wontons, 2 Chicken EggRolls, 2 Spring Rolls and Sweet N Sour Chicken. Our orders were hot, we live across the street. The Chicken Egg Rolls were ordered based on previous reviews. You definitely have to try those. The Spring Rolls were smaller with less flavor. Nothing to brag about there. The General Tso's Chicken wasn't spicy, well to me it wasn't. The Sweet N Sour Chicken was a 9 out of 10. The chicken in both meals was a bit over cooked and seemed dried out. We also opted to try the YumYum Sauce. Had never had it or heard of it before. Eh, I'll pass. The cashier stated it was like Chic-Fil-A sauce. Well, I've never had that either... not a fan. The meal, including appetizers was $30. We'd try it again, may opt for something else on the menu. This place has recently opened in the new Walmart shopping center right near Coal Mountain and North Forsyth High School. I will admit a little jealousy of the options available now; this was an empty field when I drove to school on 369. I am always looking for a great a cheap bite, and found a new gem here. I got the steak and chicken hibachi and was impressed with the amount of food I got for the price. Taste was what you expected from a hibachi place, with savory vegetables and meats placed delicately on a delicious bed of fried rice. Adding an egg roll is also a great option! There was a longer wait than I was anticipating, but that could be chalked up to being the first week of operation and inevitably will improve. Love this place. We get chicken and noodles and chicken and rice with a side of extra veggies. Their veggies are sooo good. Cooked Al Dante to perfection. This is the only restaurant in town that you'll be amazed at the portion size, including protein! Worth the money. First off, we were really excited to try this hibachi but after the customer service alone I will NEVER be back. The girl working the register was rude and disrespectful even rolling her eyes when I asked simple questions (we have never been here before) and didn't want to give me the time of day. She was on her phone the WHOLE TIME TOO. We were looking for the restaurant score before we ordered and we couldn't find it so we placed our order and waited for our food. Just ok... I was really hoping to be blown away by this new place but was left with much to be desired. You get a small amount of food for a large price point. The Chicken has good flavor and is seasoned well but the steak is bland. They use baby scallops so I was disappointed that they were not the hibachi style scallops I'm accustomed to. Their Yum Yum sauce is pre-packed condiments so it doesn't taste the same as the fresh sauce that's poured daily at other establishments. The spring rolls had great texture but were very peppery so I couldn't eat it at all. It'll be awhile before I return but will give them another try in the future when they've had more time to perfect the menu items. read more

Great stop for some protein and veggies on the way to the ball field. The meat was tender and tasty and veggies were cooked just right . Recently moved to the area and was delighted to see this new restaurant in a strip mall next to the Walmart. Get this! They have a drive through window! That's a major plus! It's already a very popular place and gets crazy busy in the evenings! I've had the steak with noodles and it's absolutely delicious. I've also ordered the fried dumplings. They are meaty and expertly made. Just make sure you get their yum yum sauce. It comes with some dishes but you have to order it extra with others. The only thing I didn't care for were the egg rolls. I'm very picky about my egg rolls and I thought theirs were mushy and tasteless. Can't wait to return and sample some more cuisine! read more

I've tried this place twice since moving to this side of Cumming. First time I got the chicken Hibachi w/ chicken egg roll. OMG...that egg roll was sooooo good and fresh! The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Second time I got shrimp w/ chicken egg roll because let's face it...I'm never NOT getting that egg roll. The shrimp were very small and weren't my favorite hence why it's 4 stars instead of 5. Next try will be the steak. Great place to grab a quick bite. Although how you have to go to get into the drive thru is weird AF. You must drive behind all the shops like the delivery trucks would. It's worth it though! I'LL BE BACK! read more

Dipping it in yum yum sauce helped...but even a 3 day old hot dog from racetrack would taste better with yum yum. Shrimp were small and didn't have a very fresh taste. Vegetables seemed to consist if only one...broccoli. noodles were acceptable. My son and I were both disappointed with this lackluster attempt at hibachi. Wish I could give them more stars because the food is excellent but the place is terribly mismanaged. Sat at the drive through window for 10 minutes and no one took my order. Pulled up to the window and could see the two kids running the registers joking around. The food really is amazing but train your staff.
