UPDATE! Over the past month, I've probably had Hibachi Done Wright about 8 times and I'm still not tired of it! They've added some new items to the menu, and they definitely do not disappoint! The Voodoo Fries are packed with delicious teriyaki steak that is full of flavor. The egg rolls are stuffed with savory beef and paired with an amazing sauce that brings everything together. And the banana pudding?! It gives you that homemade, grandma-made-it kind of feeling and will definitely leave you wanting more! Another thing I really appreciate is the staff. Everyone is always super friendly and welcoming, and they're constantly giving you suggestions on something new to try. Even when they're busy, the wait for the food is always reasonable, and everything comes out fresh and worth the wait. At this point, I think it's safe to say Hibachi Done Wright has me in a chokehold If you haven't tried the new menu items yet, you're definitely missing out! read more

For the month of August they had a special on their shortrib fried rice for $10. Lots of flavor and huge chunks of shortrib, what a great deal! Add the zodiac sauce for an additional $1 or the fried shrimp for $7. I wish the fried shrimp was crisper, but I think it's because we had to drive home before we ate. Realllyyyy wanted to love this place but unfortunately it fell a bit short during my recent visit. The customer service was great and the food came out fast and was super hot (major plus for me). The banana pudding cup was super yummy and flavorful too!! Unfortunately the rice was undercooked and crunchy and the chicken was tough and lacked flavor. As a consistent returning customer, I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. I asked the cashier if the white garlic sauce was like garlic butter, and she said yes. After ordering, I found out it was actually a mayo-based garlic sauce and immediately told her I didn't want it--less than two minutes after ordering. At first, I was told the cook wouldn't remake my food, then I was told he would fix it. After spending $88 on three plates, I received my food and the sauce was STILL on it. The cook then came to the window and said, "So you expect me to throw all that rice away?" And kept insisting that I at least try it. The issue wasn't just the sauce--it was the lack of accountability and poor customer service after I was given incorrect information. I live 45 minutes away and would've been upset had I made it all the way home and my order was incorrect. As a returning customer, I expected much better. But this was definitely the last straw. I discovered this spot from Bullethead on IG, and it does not disappoint! Be sure to check their IG account for changes in location and hours, but they are here consistently, 5pm to sellout. And they do sell out! Service is awesome, warm and personable. Food is cooked to order, so expect a short wait. read more

Man...i wanted to post this on instagram because bullethead but the steak was super well done and chewy and dry.

Found them on TikTok, tried the steak and shrimp plates, they were so delicious! We gave the zodiac fries a try as well and everything was so well seasoned, the steak and shrimp were plum and tasty. I love that we were given a choice to split the servings of the fried rice with noodles serving for my girlfriend who doesn't like rice. I chose the all rice option. The service was awesome, the guys had great customer service and served up our food in 10 mins. The ambiance was great with music playing from their overhead truck speakers. The setup is clean and everything is well displayed and well lit. There's also LVMPD patrolling the parking lot. Thank you for the delicious food, we will be going back! read more

Hello all, for transparency, I visited this truck for the first time last week as it visits my job site frequently. I made a video review for my personal IG page initially, but I didn't post it here because the content wouldn't be appropriate for Yelp. So I'm posting a text review now. I'll start by saying that this is a food truck, so as you expect, the menu is slightly limited to their specialties. This day, I decided to get what they call the "steak entree", which is $17 on their menu. It's steak, rice, peppers, onions. Basic teppanyaki, my bad "hibachi". So I order and before I complete my transaction, dude is like "How would you like your 'Zodiac Sauce', spicy or normal", thinking it's included, I say "spicy". Great. He presents the check, 20 something bucks not including tip. Hmm, later I realized that the sauce is NOT included, and I basically paid for something that he insinuated was included with the meal. Annoyed, I paid. Already I'm irked because I think dude is trying to get over on me. Fine, I won't kill the overall service for that one infraction, but it did lose them some points. Less than a minute later, I mean, warp speed, my food was ready. HMM. OK, bet. I reach out, for what has to be the smallest little shallow plate of food. If anyone has recently gotten a bowl from Abuela's Taco's recently, its like that bowl, except Abuela's is like 8 dollars and this was 20. So now I'm kinda mad, I paid 20 bucks for a tiny bowl of "hibachi". I get to the break area open it up, I see a pathetic, 6 or 7 pieces of the cheapest chewiest steak out there. Not only that, but the flavor absolutely SUCKS. Like there is nothing, I've eaten at similar trucks, at similar price points, not only did I get MORE food from those guys, but I got BETTER food. I try the sauce that he added on. It was OK, kinda sweet, kinda spicy, had a little of that tang that I don't like, which suggests to me that there is some kinda mayo going on or it's an "aioli" of some sort. Never the less, I thought it was good, even if it wasn't my Jam. The rice tasted burnt, the veggies were good, even the huge chunks of the onion bulb. Overall, I'd say the spot is either highly overrated, or what they serve the employees at the job sites, is some 'B-grade' left over caca that you think you can get off on us. Some here might like it, but I implore anyone, ESPECIALLY my co-workers, to look through these yelp reviews, and look at these huge beautiful plates, in big styro boxes, vs the little tiny bento/Tupperware type of box you'd take your left overs to go in. It was hardly a value, it was hardly good, and I can't recommend it to anyone who likes this type of food. Take a trip and try some of the other spots around town, I won't put their names in this review, but do some research on this very platform and you'll find some local gems. As of now, Hibachi Done Wright is Hibachi Done Wrong and does not deserve your hard earned dollars if they're going to be putting out this SLOP at premium prices. METRICS: Service 2/5 - Cashier was nice, but tried to double talk me like a car salesman. Food Quality and Taste 2/5 - Average at its very best. Steak was chewy, devoid of any real flavor other than burnt soy sauce and cheap teri sauce. Value 1/5 - Overall value was lacking. You're better off spending your money elsewhere. Overall - 2/5 - Mediocre Final thoughts: Why are you guys jipping hard working people on their lunch break? read more

Although they stated once we ordered, children have to wait in the car as the truck was located in front of a cannabis dispensary. I say to keep that in mind when you visit. My experience was a 2 I ordered shrimp entree half rice half noodles it was just good the zodiac sauce not a fan of at all mild or regular , very odd taste to both like mayo and vinegar can't quite put my finger on it . That was the only thing I ate that day & ended up throwing it up with bad food poisoning. My boyfriend's experience he ordered steak entree which he enjoyed but said it was dry . He didn't care for the zodiac sauce either but could stomach it a little better than me just to add some sauce to his food so it wasn't so dry . I overall wouldn't say don't try but the way I was sick I wouldn't try the seafood from them maybe cleaning or sitting to long was a issue with the seafood not sure read more

Was stoked to try this place as the social media influencers, videos, and photos made this place look pretty tempting. I was not blown away. The rice and veggies you can tell were from a premade batch sitting in a warmer as they were not piping hot when I received my plate. I was expecting a robust buttery garlic hibachi style rice/veggie, but the flavor was lacking. The hibachi chicken had great flavor when dipping it with their zodiac sauce. Though not a yum yum sauce, it was interesting. The teriyaki sauce was a bit on the overly salty side and their noodles were mediocre. Nice people in the food truck though, greets you with a smile when you walk up. Had high hopes for this place as I love hibachi, but I was not overly impressed. They are on my way home from work from Wednesday-Sunday on flamingo. Though good, I wasn't wanting more after I finished my plate. read more
