Don't do business here My husband and I recently visited and had a pedicure. I got a full set and waxing done as well. We have been here before and have usually had a good experience. We made an appointment and still waited for 30 minutes before we were seated for the pedicure. My husband went first and they said they wanted to do my nails first..not what I requested since we were celebrating our anniversary together. I sat in the manicurist's chair and got one hand glued with tips and was then told to go sit at the pedicure station. They needed to slide in someone that wanted a fill. No trimming of my tips so I had dragon lady tips on one hand the entire pedicure. It all felt very rushed and not relaxing at all. Then after my pedicure I sat at a different manicurist's table and she completed my full set as well as handled my waxing. It just wasn't very personable and just felt like a number in their cog of patrons for the day. But we paid almost $300 for those services. To top it off my husband ended up with a terrible bacterial infection on his toe 3 days later that spread to another toe and we had to go to the urgent care.So far it has cost us almost $500 for the doctor, antibiotics and special soap to clean the wound. This is unacceptable and we will NEVER be back to this establishment again. I have also reported them to the state board for obviously not using proper disinfecting practices. Please people watch and make sure utensils are sanitized EVERY time and that proper disinfecting practices are in place. So disappointed in this place. Do better. read more

typical nail salon. went in for one nail repair, came out with a fill for 45 bucks and crooked nails. requested no paint, as i had to go home and fix them all. This was a reminder of the very reason I do my own. I may not be a professional, but my nails are always straight. in for one nail repair, out less $45 and crooked nails. Also, and this was disturbing, there was nothing new or sanitized used, I'm glad he didn't cut me and give me some kind of gross fungus. I didn't even need a fill, but they are SOOO pushy. came in for a 4:30 appointment that I had already scheduled. Upon arrival, no one informed me that they were experiencing an outage and only accepting cash--something that should've been mentioned ahead of time. Although that was inconvenient, I decided to give them a chance and left to get cash. Before I left, I asked how much the service would be, and the woman quoted me $90 after looking at my nails. When I returned and it was time to start, the technician told me there would be additional charges--$10 for chrome, and another $5-$7 to shape my nails. When I questioned it, I was told that I had only asked for a fill and color and that now changing my mind would increase the cost. The technician, who sits in the third chair, was extremely rude and dismissive. I've never had such a negative experience at a salon. The customer service was completely lacking, and it felt like they were just trying to upcharge at every opportunity without transparency. What's worse is how little regard they had for how I felt as a first-time customer. Customer experience matters--especially in service-based businesses--and based on how I was treated, I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone. Selected the deluxe pedicure after making a same day appointment. I'd say it was ho-hum. The place was clean and the atmosphere nice. The person who served me forgot to massage my left leg, so my right leg got extra. I tried to say something, but she didn't understand me. I think her name was Mary. My nails were long from traveling and 3 times I asked her to cut them shorter. I guess she was afraid to do so because I'm sure I'll have to cut them shorter now that I'm home. The salon was out of the color I selected so I had to select another. With 2 coats it didn't provide good coverage. It took more than 30 minutes to dry. With the two signs I believe they added too much nail polish remover to extend the life of the polish. I suspect that it depends on who you select to do your service to get the best nails. But who knows who is the best at each salon. I'll try another place next time to try and find that person. read more

I stopped into Hi-Tech Nails hoping I could get a pedicure without an appointment. I was ushered to a chair immediately. The place was clean and the customers seemed happy to be there. My nail tech was Stacey. She made sure the water temp was to my liking. She took the time to make my toenails look better than they have in years. She got all the calluses off my feet and toes. Her leg massage felt heavenly. I'm 66 and that was the best pedicure I've ever had! After telling Stacey this, I found out that it was her first day working there after moving here from California. Wow! Got a pedicure and it was awesome great massage chair as well; extra $ for callus treatment worth it. Also had gel manicure and Sandy really took her time and did an amazing job. One week later and my nails still look good, much better quality and experience than with other salons. I had an eyebrow wax, too, which was great. I walked out. 10:30 appointment and they sat me 30 minutes late. I was in the chair with my feet in water for an additional 15 minutes with no sign of someone being next to help me. Shop was very unsanitary, I got a full set of acrylics for about 50$ and I really didn't wanna pay for it from how it turned out. The nail tech was very sloppy, my nails are crooked and bumpy(all different lengths too), not to mention I thought it was kinda rude how he stopped what he was doing and said " I'll be back in 5min" then he comes back smelling like cigarettes, bleh . When I went to the counter to wash my hands I also noticed how dirty everything was like the tools, sink , surroundings ect. My friend and I came in for a manicure and fill. Woman used the dermal tool too hard and ripped one of my nails off and then instead of putting on a new tip decided to use the powder to cover my natural nail. When I asked her to put a tip on she asked "why" lol because I'm not paying full price for half the service. She ended up charging me for the nail she broke off. $28 for a fill and the nails sloppy looking and unsymmetrical. My friend had a man do her manicure that commented saying "do me a favor and you a favor and stop biting your nails" he then soaked her nails in nail polish remover that burned her cuticles. Her nails came out looking like a 12 year old did them. We both left disappointed with the rude and unprofessional service. Probably the worse experience I've had in a nail salon. The nail technician trimmed my nails, but did not use a file or trim my cuticles. As you can see in the pic, my left great toe nail was left crooked. My friend, who came with me, had gel nails already on and from the second pic, this is how they got power to the tool used to take off her old gel. My pedicure was completed in 10 minutes. I had to sit and wait for my friend, who other nail technicians were guiding him on how to complete a pedicure. I felt like this was a beauty school were people learn how to do nails. A lot of $ to pay for gel & then to have this after only an hour after having them done. Initially it was obvious that their time budgeting practices were lacking, but I work in service too, I know it can get hectic and gave them the benefit of the doubt on this. What really ticked me was they did not provide the service I requested, but instead lied and wasted my time. I asked if they could do a manicure with shellac, which they said they could, but then the lady pulls out some Wal-Mart brand nail polish to complete my manicure. And she literally said that polish was better. No, it's really not. And either way, I don't care, it's not what I asked for. If you don't have what I asked for, that's fine, just say so.
