I just moved to Saint John from Toronto and had some bad experiences with dentists back home that are judgmental and would nag and make me feel bad about not coming in more often. The entire team was very understanding and compassionate and they did the procedure on the same day for a VERY reasonable price. They did not make me feel in any way bad about it and I feel I was treated the same as any other customer. Back home I was quoted more than double and they wanted to sent me to a specialist that I had to wait months for! I'm really happy I picked this clinic and I'm actually looking forward to going back in the new year to stay on top of my dental needs. I feel like someone stepped on my head and punched me in the face today but no more dental pain! Thanks Bonner Dental Clinic!

This office is extremely unprofessional, they made me wait two years for a crown after calling and…read moretelling them I was in pain . They sent the wrong X rays off to my insurance company the first time , it was for a different tooth . Then once they finally took more X-rays they sent blurry un readable X-rays to my insurance company . Always pointing their finger towards someone else and never taking accountability. I called at least 6 times over the 2 years to find out what was going on as it was causing me issues . When they finally got it sorted out they booked me an appointment 2 more months down the road . I called a professional dentist in Fredericton and not only did they fit me in that week but they found another issue that Gateway never mentioned and was causing my jaw bone to decay . When my new ( professional dental office called ) to get information about my history . They were rude , vague and short with them . This isn't the first incident I had with gateway to hell . I also waited close to two years for them to fix a root canal in the past and in the end they had to send me to an and Endodontist Dentist. I feel they have so many clients that they honestly do not care about their patients. I highly recommend going elsewhere

Update.... months after my last visit, I'm still having toothaches every other day, I noticed right…read moreaway that my molar has been "cleaned" so much, ei:scraping, that I now have another exposed nerve on another molar right at the gum line that I constantly have to pick clean so food doesn't cause a toothache immediately. My teeth remain so sensitive at the gun line that I can't touch them with a cotton swab without feeling pain. Hot and cold don't effect it tho, and I have no idea why. Worst dentist I've ever been to. I now have to wait 9 months for my benefits to come back, so I can get a dentist that LISTENS, to fix what he destroyed. All I wanted was a broken tooth removed. Update,,, He cleaned so much, that 3 of my teeth have holes at the gum line that all have exposed nerves I hit all the time because I have to clean food out of each hole after every meal. His practices need to be investigated.

I had a wonderful experience getting my teeth cleaned while visiting Nova Scotia. Dr. Wallace was…read moreable to fit me in and I was very impressed with their COVID protocols. Staff took my temperature via forehead upon arrival, required patients to wait outside or in your car if you arrive early - which is a great idea! They require a short survey about any recent COVID exposure or travel as well as hand sanitizer. Everyone was very gowned, gloved and masked up with fresh new gowns for every patient. I also learned about their new air circulation and filtration system which is very state of the art. All of these aspects really put me at ease. I hadn't been to see a dentist in a while so I was happy we also did X-rays. Its a nice touch that there are TVs on the ceiling which is a good distraction option. I got a very gentle and thorough cleaning as well as a reassuring good bill of health. I'd make the trip again for the incredibly caring, professional and considerate service. Locals are lucky to have Dr. Emily! The best!!
