Add this to your list of fun things to do with friends or family while in Joshua Tree! If you are looking for an immersive experience in the High Desert, Hi-Orbit Games in Twentynine Palms is the newest addition to the SoCal scene. This cinematic journey takes you into a nostalgic, sci-fi world inspired by the mysteries of Joshua Tree. Hi-Orbit Games is a gorgeous game filled with creativity. It's a spacious Gen 3 experience with no physical padlocks in sight. The set is interesting, really wonderful use of space. I enjoyed how they leaned into the Joshua Tree location. This game is great for escape room players that love multi-room experiences, scenery, modern escape experiences and active challenges.

How was this so incredible!!! Arcade games were a blast to the past and Blake was friendly and helpful! The escape room was unlike anything I'd done before! The puzzles were fun and challenging just the right amount. Once you get it, it's so satisfying! I couldn't imagine how integrated the puzzles were! It was a FUN time--can't wait for more friends to do it so we can talk about it!!

The coolest escape room experience with this warm Joshua Tree vibe. We didn't even want to leave the camp ground location, wish we could stay for a night And arcades games in the lobby...we just keep coming back! Amazing place and amazing host!

Fun for all ages

A woman with red hair who worked there approached us without saying hello or greeting us and simply said, "They can't step on the lanes." I didn't hear her the first time, so I said, "I'm sorry?" She repeated, "Kids can't step on the lanes." I explained that they weren't on the lanes....we were actually nowhere near them and were standing behind the partition separating the bowling area. Rather than simply acknowledging that and moving on, she proceeded to stand directly in front of me and refused to move. At that point, we felt so uncomfortable that we scooped up our kids and left. We are locals, not tourists just passing through, and this is exactly the kind of place we would have loved to frequent regularly with our family. Instead, we were made to feel like we were criminals for simply walking in with our kids. I'm not sure if this woman was the owner or an employee, but either way, this was a very poor first impression. At a bowling alley, of all places, you would expect families with children to feel welcome. Instead, we were made to feel like we were a problem before we had even done anything. The entire interaction was rude, unwelcoming, and completely unnecessary.

I walked in with my friends and immediately stopped when we saw the old-school bowling alley. Instead, a woman with red hair came over and told us we had to leave because we couldn't stop to take pictures--even though that rule is posted nowhere. That completely ruined our experience and made us decide not to stay. We came in excited to spend money, but after being treated that way, we left. Management should seriously address how she treats potential customers.

The ladies who sat us down were so polite and down to earth . The waiter was nice as well. Great food. The portion size was good for the family platter. Great flavors. Original if you ask me. The meats are smoked True atmosphere was different but very cool. We made it in time for a heavy metal show. Super cool. Ribs and music !!! Restrooms were clean . They have a cool Photo Booth as well. They are very welcoming here. I'd come back again

Was told whole party had to be there and there was a 1:45 dining time limit, which seems reasonable as general policy but kind of stickler when there is no one at the restaurant. Told her we would def be out of there before 1:45 since we are just a family with young kids, host didn't care wouldnt seat us as a big group. But then since my daughter was super hungry I asked the hostess to seat us as a party of 2. She said there were no tables available even though half the restaurant was empty. She told us to go order at the bar and sit at the side bar area where there were some tables. I said sure, I ordered then the rest of my family showed up and they "seated" us exactly where I was sitting by giving us some menus. Then no one ever came to take our order so we left. Kiddos mac and cheese was solid. Mgmt at pappys please train your staff better.
