I ended the call, and she then called me six times and left a voicemail insulting my manners and lecturing me for hanging up. This happened simply because I attempted to visit a business that Google Maps showed as open. The repeated calls afterward were completely inappropriate. I would not recommend contacting this business. The dialogue from her voicemail: "Hi, this is Mariel, and I sincerely I'm here to help. I hope you weren't the person that was so rude as to hang up on me when I don't do walking readings. You can simply say you're not interested. Um, Hopefully your parents taught you some manners. And I do wish you the best, but again, if you're talking to someone and you suddenly disconnect, it shows that you probably are not the kind of person I can help anyway because I don't work with rude people...."

My…read moreinitial appt was a small fee I can't remember the exact amount but I do recall vividly being told about a wand that could be made especially for me based on my birthday and a handwritten signature with my birth name. It was $800. I was desperate and although I worked a minimum wage job at the time I made it happen. I also got a signature from my BF at the time to determine "if we were compatible". I dropped that off the next day and a week later I had my special wand and it was incredibly beautiful. I was told how to pray on a cotton blanket and face a certain direction making sure to point the wand away from me and to do this every night at the same time for a week. I only did this once. That's all it took because it unleashed an attack of evil I never expected or experienced in my life. So did my BF. We had demonic dreams which felt like an eternity. We woke up the next morning scared and confused with a flock of black crows in our front yard cackling. My BF didn't know about the wand but he found it and broke it and threw it in a river. I went back to the psychic and told her what happened and asked what she did and to make it stop. She said it wasn't the wand or anything she did. But I knew differently. That was the last time I saw her. A year later my BF & I both found Jesus. Hallelujah. I only write this now because He has pressed upon me to pray for this establishment and all who enter there. Jesus is the only one who saves. And let me tell you, my life isn't perfect but I have His perfect peace! I broke those covenants and agreements I made with witchcraft. Because that's what it was. 100%. Knowingly or unknowingly we make those decisions and agreements and this should be alarming to anyone on this path. It should be a wake up call! There was a huge variety of vendors with high quality goods, and plenty of options for foods and drinks. There were free water-refill spots to help everyone stay hydrated and keep those reusable water bottles full! I caught several shows, a bit of music, and sat and admired all the incredible costumes of the staff / vendors and the other guests. There were archery lessons, a blacksmith with a forge, several vendors with beautiful swords, and so much more! They had a booth with a game for kids to catch "rats" throughout the faire - I didn't catch the details, but the kids were clearly having a ton of fun with this. I arrived shortly before the gates opened and was happy to see plenty of parking, and plenty of staff on hand to direct vehicles (sounds like this is an improvement from last year). I would happily make this drive again, it was very enjoyable.

The "costumes" are insulting including plastic grass skirts, plastic party city lei, and fake, poorly done hip belt. Even without the costumes, the way this was done was extremely offensive, and if one doesn't know what they're doing then it's insulting to both Tahitian and Hawaiian culture. I can't speak to anything else, but if you need Hawaiian or Tahitian dancers, find a real Kumu or Ra'atira instead of people cosplaying a cultural and sacred practice. This was an eyesore of a performance and is an insult to any Pasifika person.
