I would not recommend hiring R & R Home Inspections…read more While I can't say much about the quality of the inspection report itself, we found working with Robert extremely difficult. The process was extremely disorganized and unprofessional. My boyfriend and I both took off work for a 10:30 am inspection. I reached out the night before to confirm the time and location at which point Robert requested we push the inspection back until 3:00 pm. We agreed. During the inspection, we requested the report be expedited. We were told that was unlikely but that'd we'd 100% have the report within 48 hours. We are on a tight deadline with our close date so once the 48 hours had passed I reached out to confirm we would still be receiving the report. Robert assured me we'd have it that evening. No sign of the report that morning so I followed up and was told he overslept a nap and would have it to me shortly. I found this odd and unprofessional but believed that he'd be sending the report. Around 11:30 am I followed up again. Robert again assured me he'd have it by 12:30 pm. Robert continuously set deadlines he could not meet and did not proactively communicate. At one point he said, "I was going to offer you a refund for the wait lol" via text. So when the report finally came in at 7:15 pm, we laid out all of the numerous reasons we were unsatisfied with the level of service we received and hoped he would honor his claims and grant us a refund. At that point, Robert completely changed his tune and said he would refund our money and that all communications moving forward should be via email in case of litigation. REALLY unfortunate. While we would never bring this to court, we were extremely dissatisfied with the level of service we received given the premium we paid. ($450 for an inspection) and hoped they would make good on their claims. In our eyes, a $450 inspection warrants professional communication, organization, and timely delivery. All and all, working with R & R Home Inspections made the stressful process of closing on a home much worse. Word of advice to the company - do not take on job you don't have the bandwidth for.

When buying a…read morehome you have to have an inspection done it is the inspector's job to pass or fail Items in the home to make sure that it's ready for new homeowners. upon my inspection, the inspector said that the company who makes electrical boxes that was in my house, went out of business in the late 80s and passed the inspection. About a month and a half into owning our home power to a quarter of the house went out I followed the process that they gave me which was to have the original inspection along with a quote from a new contractor and submit it to them so that they could take care of it the next day I called to find out what the next step was because the quote was rated at $6000 and the contractor that I got the quote from said the electrical box needed to be replaced years ago and that if my home insurance found out I had that electrical box they would not cover me so if my house burnt down because of that box, I would be SOL in a home I called this company back and they told me that they would only pay up to $500 and then when I asked for a supervisor, the supervisor intern tried to twist my words as if I caused a problem and that they would not cover me for that so please make sure you're asking questions and make sure that if something needs to be replaced, do not allow that contractor hired from them to pass it because they will not take care of you

Unlike the others, Joe, the owner of Get The Facts, quickly called back, sent the quote, and explained their services and pricing in a very courteous and professional manner. The price that he quoted for the inspection was very fair. Also, Joe made himself available to us for information and questions during and after the inspection period, even calling us back at times that were less convenient for him because we were in a different time zone. After several phone calls of questions, we scheduled the inspection. David, one of the inspectors of this company, conducted the inspection. We weren't in town at the time of the inspection, but the next day we received a fifty eight page report. David was very thorough. He went in all of the most hard to reach places, including a tiny attic above the garage, another on the second floor, and every section of the multi-section roof. He even took pictures of each area referenced. His report was easy to read and to use. The Four Point report and Wind Mitigation report were included in the price. We also asked Joe for recommendations of quality companies that specialized in Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) inspections, home warranty services, and roofing repairs. All these companies have demonstrated the same work ethics, being courteous and professional, which speaks to Joe's commitment to helping customers by only recommending the best services. In addition to the quality inspection services, David even offered to give us a house tour after we settle in the house. We took David up on his offer, and he explained all of his findings and gave us ideas as to the first steps to addressing these issues. We highly recommend Get The Facts inspection services and believe you will have a very good experience, too!

He stated on the inspection report our HVAC system as a 2023 system like also listed on the MLS listing. We bought the house April 2024. A few weeks ago our outside unit failed. The AC company which came out to fix it found out that the outside unit is a 2016 and not as stated from Quigley as a 2023! The air handler is a 2023! Fact is we have to deal now with a failing outside compressor already which shouldn't be if Phil Tori from Quigley would have taken his duties seriously. But it looks like he only relied on the MLS listing instead of checking the label on the outside compressor. Instead of having a peace of mind for 10-12 years we have to deal with installing a new one already. Our house is 2200 SF and it needs a 5-ton-outside unit, which costs around 6-7k. Our real estate agent contacted them and told us, that the owner Tarin Quigley will call us which she never did. Though I called them. Wow what an experience. They get loud, don't let you speak out, cut you off when you want to say something and blame you to treat them badly! Tried to come up with excuses that it is already over a year since the four-point home inspection and therefore not under warranty anymore! Fact is, that Phil Tori neglected his duties as a home inspector and that the home inspection report is false! We signed something back then, which wasn't true and overlooked from Quigley Inspection Services. We wanted to get them to be responsible for that and the costs which we will face now. The only thing Tarin Quigley came up with was a refund of $650, the fee we paid for the inspection. Because she never let me speak out over the phone and always cut me off during the phone call I agreed then to the refund. The same day she sent me a release form first which we have to sign first to get a refund. This release form forbids us to make any bad reviews on any platform and more! I even don't know if that is legal? Now I know why their reviews are so good! My husband and I ditched the refund to be able to come here and to make an honest review, to warn other people. Don't go with Quigley Inspection Services. They are rude, unprofessional and they don't take responsibility! No even better Tarin Quigley wrote it was no wrong-doing!
