The shop is quite large and aswell as being a post office, they also have a small shop with sweets, stationery and lots of different kinds of cards. Normally there's a bit of a queue and ususlly it's a little old lady gossiping with the person serving that caises the hold up! this is definitely a case of the post office being part of the local community and I'm glad it's one of the ones staying open.

This post office is an absolute godsend to the people of south hetton and long may it continue. I moved away from east sussex where sadly every single local post office closed which to most peoples horror only left the main one in the centre of town, which was very inconveient and always full to bursting and often had queus out the door and up the road!
