Light, quite and proper priced fine dinning. 4 or 5 cources menu available…read more Chef has a great sense of modernized Dutch foods. If you see the instgram page of the restaurant. You will find the chef is lovely. I ordered 5 cources menu. First course is sea bass cappacio with fry softshell crab. Fantastic. The fish is so fresh and make a perfect ensemble of the taste with dressing Second is the prawn and beet, average but quite fresh. Third is duck liver, oil is a little bit much but a very good companion with the sweet and sour dressing. Main dish is steak. Fantastic. I can't describe but you should try. Dessert is my favourite. But I will keep the secret of their unique recepie.

Dinner at Van der Dussen. Got the oysters to start and added the crab bisque which was a bit salty…read more The waitress said it was from the lobster but they need to sample the dish a bit more as the sodium level was a bit over the top. All of the other dishes were fine. - Amuse bouche - Mousse of smoked cod - Salmon seared with wasabi foam with tapioca pearls. - Lobster bisque with king crab - This was the dish that really threw me off as it was salty but was told that the salt level is due to the lobster shells. Regardless, the cooking method needs to be adjusted rather than using the ingredient as an argument. - Guinea fowl with pumpkin 3 ways. - Iberian pork served 3 ways with cheek, belly, tenderloin. The pork dish was good but could have been cooked a bit less for a more tender bite. Delft seems to be a touristy town so the restaurants are what one would expect.
