I have used Cody for a while. For a couple of years, I had a great rate. My rate began to increase…read moreso I began to look for new coverage. I reached out to Cody to see if I had the best rate. He said he would look into it. Never heard back. Since I did not I decided to look for coverage else where. I sent them my policies to review and told them I needed the same coverage I have now, including the flood policy. This is how I discovered I did not have a flood policy. When I moved into my new home in Houston in December 2024 (right on the bayou), I made it abundantly clear to Cody and their office manager, Kendra Alnes, that I needed flood insurance. I was told confidently in writing via email that my renter's policy included flood coverage in the event of a hurricane. Based on that assurance, I didn't seek additional coverage. Fast forward seven months, we're now deep into hurricane season, and I've just learned that this critical coverage does not exist. I had someone who wrote policies for State Farm for 15 years review and she told me no flood coverage exists. I reached out to Kendra and Cody to clarify and this was true. Worse yet, I'm now told that renters can't even get flood coverage through FEMA, something I could've researched and addressed back in December had I been given the right information. I would have worked on this with my landlord to make sure things were set for this hurricane season. Insurance is about trust. When that trust is broken, especially with something as high-stakes as natural disaster coverage in Houston during hurricane season, it's not just frustrating, it's dangerous. Be careful. Double-check everything. And if flood insurance is something you need, I'd recommend working with an agent who actually understands what their products do and don't cover.

She was referred to me by my coworker/friend and my coworker told me how much she helped her out, that I should call Christina. Best thing I ever did was to call her and bundle my house/car with State Farm. Christina explained all different quotes and helped me pick the right solution. Now I have way better coverage on both and a lot less than I was paying. She was an ANGEL!!! THANK YOU, CHRISTINA!!!!

on't get a job through this company if you expect to get paid on time. The assignment my husband…read morewas placed on is a weekly paid assignment. Payday is on Fridays. Last week, my husband's pay was nearly $600 short due to a "payroll error" and new "clock-in" procedure. On Friday morning, when the error was noticed by a short paycheck, my husband and 5 other employees went to the office. The woman working there recognized the error and told all the employees to get a manual timesheet approved by the assignment manager and was told the error would be fixed Monday. However, she added "no guarantee!". After numerous calls to the Gainesville and Denton location, calls to the actual job site and supervisors, we were told the pay would be corrected in 24 ADDITIONAL HOURS of waiting. It is now Wednesday and the problem has yet to be corrected. The next payday is in two days and he still hasn't received any compensation. Phone calls go straight to voicemail to "leave a message" that never gets returned in a timely fashion. The woman who works in the office keeps passing the buck and offering no real aswers except to pass blame to another person. This place has the worst assistance. To make things worse, my husband is contractually bound to finish his "temp" assignment in order to be hired on permanently at the job assignment. Skip getting a "temp to hire" position with this company if you expect to be paid for the actual hours worked. We are currently contacting the Labor Board to get the wages and that are owed! * Update* Catherine (Gainesville location) advised us that she " didn't give a s*** if we got paid" and to " get a real job because she gets paid more!" After calling all 3 locations to get a supervisor on the line, Debbie has assured us that the situation of pay will be corrected Friday.

My wife and I decided to do a joint insurance policy for the multi car discount. She already had a policy with this office for auto and renters so we elected to continue to use State Farm. However, they forgot to close out the old renters policy causing it to double bill from Sept 2021 - Feb 2024. When I reached out to inform them of the mistake they informed me they needed to "research it". That was over 100 days ago. I have followed up several times without a single proactive call from this office.
