After talking with the insurance company, it seemed that the bills they had been sent were a mess and things had been billed multiple times for the same procedure. When I reached out to their office they told me that what they said insurance would cover is never a guarantee and is just an estimate so I was still responsible for the remaining. As a single income individual with a mortgage, getting a bill for $850 7 months after a procedure without so much as a courtesy call really puts me into a tough spot.

I looked up one that would be on my Healthplex plan and chose Michael Nolan, DDS because he would be the closest one in my area and the experience was anything but great! There is no sign out front and he is located in not a very nice area and does the work out of his house. When we arrived the receptionist was on a personal phone call and couldn't even find my name and that I had a scheduled appointment....and it went down hill from there!! As a new patient you expect them to do a full series of xrays and they only did four...they did not even have a light display or computer to project them on and he barely glanced at the 4 that they did take. The cleaning was the worst I have ever experienced and the woman did not even do the teeth on the top. Also as she was polishing my teeth, she did such a bad job that a lot of it went into my hair!! Then the dentist had to replace a cracked filling and I had to have it removed because the fill that he used was very "old school" and several of my teeth became infected. I was shocked when he said that I couldn't eat for 24 hours and knew that with most dentists use a light to harden the filling and you are able to eat an hour later. So I went to Aspen Dental and they were wonderful...they removed the filling that he put in and treated the infected areas...so whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST!!! I did not give this dentist any stars what so ever because he had zero bed side manor and did a crappy job to say the least!!

I recently needed a root canal done and since I've never had a root canal, I checked out dentist in…read moremy area. Out of all the reviews that I have found, I found Dr. William Lyons (DDS). I had my root canal done today by Dr. Lyons and I have to say, that I have had a very, very pleasant experience. Dr. Lyons, and his assistant Sage were terrific. I was done in around 30 minutes and during the procedure, Dr. Lyons would make sure that I was comfortable. He would also ask I was in any pain. Not at all! He explained everything to me while showing me the xrays that he took. I have had my teeth cleaned by my regular dentist and she does a great and thorough job but I would ask her if she was digging for clams... I can't stress enough that if you need a root canal, you have to get it done here at Dr. Lyons office He is right in Queensbury, NY. It was just a very pleasant, professional experience. I recommend highly! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Lyons for making my first and only root canal a very comfortable, non-pain experience.

I am very, very fortunate to have good teeth. Lots of people say that it's genetics...but neither…read moreof my parents are blessed with fabulous chompers. I think that it's a combination of drinking fluorinated water, getting fluoride treatments as a kid, brushing/flossing regularly and yes...some luck. I've never had a cavity in spite of some lapses in my getting cleanings over the years. Now that I am a little bit older, I try to keep up with it. I have been visiting a different location (same practice) in the area, however, Heather...the dental hygienist...also works out of this office. I basically follow Heather wherever she goes. Earlier this week I had my overdue appointment for a cleaning and, as always, Heather did a marvelous job. I don't have the fear of dentists that many others do... simply because I have never had a cavity (nor any major dental work ...with the exception of having my wisdom teeth removed a long, long time ago). When I met the dentist herself... I believe it was Dr. Smith... I was very happy with her expertise and approach. I had to go back for a brief visit the following day for a preventative procedure and even that was a good experience. They are very serious about Covid protocols which makes me very comfortable/happy. This particular office is actually much more convenient to where I live, so I plan on making this my primary dentist location moving forward. I highly recommend.

The discharge nurse at the ER recommended Dr. Burkich for the wonderful care she provided for her own son. We called on a Monday morning at 9am, and they had my daughter in at 2pm that day. The whole staff was efficient, kind, attentive, thorough, and helpful. Dr. Burkich was gentle and they explained everything as they were doing it. They got us in again in the morning the following day for more work. We were amazed, and my daughter kept saying how much she loves people in New York. We are so grateful!
