In 2020, in the height of the COVID-19, I rented a vehicle from this Hertz's location and rec'd great customer service. Understanding time requirements to process my insurance claim; due to lack of available staff and other factors amid COVID-19, it was a pleasure to work with the single rep/mgr at the location. Recently, I contacted the local Hertz office to make another reservation through my insurance company. Well... I guess staffing has increased .. When I called, I was transferred to a female rep that was EXTREMELY rude to say the least. I explained that I was looking for a rental through my insurance company, she rudely told me ( the most unpleasant tones) that "NO" the company can not pick up customers and further stated that the insurance company would only pay a min amt and that I would have to pay the balance. She also stated, depending on the day and cars avail, she probably could not help me at that rate. I immediately realized that this did not appear to be a person I dealt with previously. I attempted to explain, I was familiar with rates and thought it would suffice. She quickly responded very rudely "that depends". The call was so unpleasant, I decided to seek rental from another company and terminated the call. Very disappointed my relationship with Hertz's location was damaged for future business. My thoughts were..... in times of businesses and job survival .. it was quite obvious these concerns are not shared by all. read more
