My car broke down on the way home to Missoula and I had it towed back to Helena. Dan Barnhart organized a rapid pickup at the repair shop and got me on my way in a very nice Honda SUV in record time so that I could get across MacDonald Pass before nightfall. When I returned the car in Missoula today, they all knew Dan and obviously hold him in high regard. Thanks to Dan and the entire Enterprise team for helping me in such a quick and professional manner!

Got a call 45 minutes before I was to pick up my car that they had no cars available. (We channel our inner Jerry Seinfeld. At least he DID get a car. ) I had to scramble to find another. Well, after a full day of traveling I arrive to the airport only to see a dark National counter with a sign saying they are out of cars and to try Avis. Scenes of the classic Seinfeld episode started to play in my head... "I don't think you understand what a reservation means..." I show up the next morning per the sign, only to have an understandably frustrated counter agent notify me that she wasn't sure why her counterpart left early as there were cars in their inventory. If Keely hadn't been so understand and helpful, I'm sure I would have had a more scathing review. So for that reason... in the off chance Keely reads this..that extra star in the review is all for you. Use at your leisure.

Helena Regional Airport in Montana is a surprisingly impressive small airport that offers a…read morecomfortable and stress free travel experience. The first thing I noticed was how clean, modern, and spacious the terminal feels. The high ceilings, exposed wooden beams, large windows, and unique circular lighting give the airport a warm Montana character rather than the cold, crowded atmosphere found at many larger airports. There is plenty of seating throughout the terminal, and the large windows provide great views of the runway and surrounding mountains. I also appreciated having a restaurant and comfortable seating areas where travelers can grab something to eat or relax before their flight. The airport offers free WiFi, rental car services, and convenient parking, which makes traveling through Helena even easier.
