Talked with people twice at Enterprise so now I am waiting as they escalated it and to wait for their call back. So besides this car rental I am worried that on my return flight which arrives at 11:30 PM no car will be available and will be spending all night in the Sanford airport. I guess I should have checked here before using Enterprise. Would I recommend Enterprise..No I see the message from the manager, I am not going to waste more time on Enterprise. 3 phone calls to 3 different people all saying this is being escalated and I will get a call back. Like I said would never recommend Enterprise.

There was a number to call to the managers hotline, which was just a useless recording not helpful at all.... we waited till 1 o'clock in the morning still never came by that point Budget is closed. I was stranded. Had to have a friend drive an hour to come pick me up in an hour Back.. after being on the phone with Budget for 2 hours, all they wanted to offer me was a "one day coupon" for future rental. Unacceptable. after calling back and arguing again for another two hours, they gave me a "two day coupon" for future rental. They refuse to give me any discounts on my vehicle. Once I picked up the vehicle and drove away from the lot it had empty soda cans a dirty Band-Aid in it !!!! again I called. They offered me a "one day coupon" for a future rental. I never received the coupon. Had to call back 3 times to get it. I generally use Hertz, only reason I chose Budget this time it was through my JetBlue account. This is the worst rental experience I've ever had in my life. My first time using Budget and this will be my last time. !!!!

They sent me to a mechanic they use to help me out, offered to pay for an oil change and followed up with the mechanic. The mechanic helped me to see that there is a recall on the thermostat that we are in the window for to have replaced. I'm used to driving my Jeep Wrangler, so the rental cars felt tiny in comparison, but everything worked out just fine. The car was clean, drove well, and I had no issues during my short rental. I showed up after being told the day before the truck might not even be available. I rode my bike there in the rain just to confirm. At the counter, I was told my card "declined," but my bank (Capital One) confirmed the charge was approved and only reversed by Enterprise. Still, the manager refused to rerun the card or accept another payment method--even though I had sufficient funds. I was denied my reservation and asked to leave with no solution offered. Ended up riding my bike home in pouring rain after all of this. Very poor communication, lack of accountability, and unprofessional handling of the situation.
