40 years and 382 months old and in excellent health, which I attribute mostly to the healthy and natural foods I have been buying at Hershey Harvest for many years. And by healthy and natural , I mean NO artificial ingredients or chemicals. From their incomparably delicious meats, to their delectable home made entrees, deserts , cheeses and dairy products, you simply can't do better than Hershey Harvest. Bob and Linda and all the staff are always friendly and attentive and the store is always immaculately clean and well organized. Bob's love and respect for the health of our Mother Earth is reflected in everything they have to offer. i went into the store looking at the cookies and the sales girl was staring at me as if i was a thief and i am a long term customer, i sent a complaint via email and no one acknowledged my complaint, this is not only rude but very hurtful and disrespectful as i have been coming here for years and did not deserve this type of treatment. read more

Today my good friend Kevin and I made our first trip to Hershey Harvest. When we walked in we were immediately struck by the home-like atmosphere that screamed a passion for both love and food. We began to journey though the establishment and discovered a diverse array of food items including meats, cheeses, and desserts. Almost immediately, we were approached by a friendly sales associate named Olivia who seemed excited to help us on our journey. My friend Kevin ordered a turkey sandwich and she was able to not only offer personal recommendations but also to cater the sandwich to his own food aesthetic. The product: a sandwich that was traditional yet extravagant, simple yet gourmet. Needless to say, we will be coming back to "The Harvest" (our new shorthand for this gem of a market). read more

It was nice. I was visiting Pennsylvania from NY and came for the raw milk but was distracted by the other goodies in this shop. I ended up buying a lot of grass fed meat, raw milk, raw unsalted butter and some of their precooked foods which you get to choose. The Amish lady behind the counter was really nice and explained to us many things about what they sell in relation to raw milk. There was an older woman who was kinda... eh, fake friendly but I'd go back either way. read more

Hershey harvest is our go to store! Our freezer is literally filled with only Hershey harvest meat and veggies! We only buy raw milk from here and eggs. Everything is homemade and everything is delicious! The staff is amazingly friendly, especially the young man that works there! We love Donna also!! This is one of only two food stores in my locality where I can buy raw milk and humanely-raised, pastured meat and poultry. (Come on, fellow humans: if we're going to keep eating animals, let's have the moral sense to raise them right. End of sermon.) I believe Hershey Harvest is Mennonite owned and operated. Not only can you get grass fed beef and free range organic chicken here, but also Italian sweet and hot sausage, brats, and kielbasa. The quality of the prepared foods is good, although lately, I find their a bit heavy handed with adding sugar to their deli salads. (Some sweetness is good for cucumber salad, but not Italian pasta salad.) They also have a scrumptious selection of Penna Dutch baked goods and seasonal treats. I mostly steer clear of the prepared frozen entrees because they are expensive, but all else is reasonably priced. read more

This is a PA Dutch type market. They sell prepared foods, side dishes, cold cuts and cheeses, soups, raw milk, candies, and my favorite...grass fed, raised without hormones or antibiotics meats. My only request would be that they make something non Dutchy every now and then to mix it up. But I'm very happy to have this right around the corner from my house, convenient for last minute dinner items. read more

The first time I made boneless/skinless chicken breast from this "hometown, local, family store, my husband asked "what did you marinate this in or season it with." My response was "nothing." Needless to say we only shop here for our meats and poultry! The homemade foods are so delicious that you can tell the love it was made with. read more
