The entire cafe has a cozy diner setup with plenty of seating. We decided to start the day with a simple bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich as well as a hot chocolate. The food was quickly prepared and brought to us. The hot chocolate was rich and warm while the sandwich was light yet filling. The cafe also offers boxed lunch options for the road which is a terrific option for travelers and visitors hitting the trail like us. My only complaint is that they were only open from Thursday to Monday, because I would easily return every morning!

These guys avoid that while still having some over the top designs and flavors available. Seriously, this place makes no sense. They make Voodoo Doughnut quality donuts(if not better), the people are super nice, and you get a hell of a value on half a dozen. In a separate (connected) building, there's also a neat country store offering plenty of Christmas & holiday ornaments & decorations, as well as the traditional country home decor, frames, mats, wooden signs, supplies, and miscellaneous knick-knacks. A lot stuff is made in C---a and it's not Canada. I could smell the aroma of potpourri in the air in the store. The store was a good place to browse around and to stretch.
