I've been in ID for a few short years and I've already been to this place around 6 times... and 2 just this summer. This place is so cool! I might be so fascinated with this place because where I lived we didn't have this but it is great! You can talk as much or as little as you want without feeling like you'll disturb people. You can park your car basically anywhere you like on those humps, front or back. The only downside to I imagine all drive in's is car battery, it's good to bring a portable radio and speakers if you fear your car battery will die on you, although, people are glad to help you out if your battery does die. **Please note: I am not a professional reviewer. We asked for cheese burgers but they weren't making them. The sodas had too much syrup to soda water making them taste like an opened bottle of soda. The popcorn was decent just extra salty. The corn dogs are frozen foster farms that they microwave and they overdid mine. The Philly cheesesteak was slimey and obviously a frozen one they microwaved. We waited 15-20 minutes for everything. However, even with the bad food experience the movie experience was great. Hopefully the owners will offer a better quality selection of food and drinks and rely less on a microwave for everything .

High-quality picture, great snacks, and an awesome atmosphere!…read more If you are looking for the ultimate movie date in downtown Boise, CinemaWest BoDo & Giant Screen is the place to go. My fiancé and I caught Masters of the Universe today at 12:10 PM, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. What made it great: The Giant Screen: The laser projection and picture quality are unmatched. Seeing the action on such a massive, sharp screen made the film even better. Premium Recliners: The luxury seating is incredibly spacious with tons of room. The seats recline all the way back, and they feature handy attached trays where we could comfortably set our food and drinks. Excellent Concessions: You can't go wrong with the classic movie combo. Our popcorn was delicious, the Coke was perfectly crisp, and we even walked away with an awesome limited-edition popcorn tin! The theater has a sleek, upscale vibe, and the staff was fast and welcoming. It's a wonderful addition to the downtown area. We will absolutely be back!

Worst theater experience I've ever had :(…read more If my sister and I hadn't been wanting to see Wicked For Good so badly we would have walked out. For starters the volume in the theater was weirdly low... admittedly, we did not notify staff to adjust it as we didn't want to miss any parts of the story. But then about 30 min in to the movie our chairs started shaking/vibrating from what we thought was a loud action movie in the theater next door to us. It continued the. entire. movie. Big bummer. It wasn't until we left that we figured out it was from the band playing in the Treefort Music hall which is right below the theater. Trust me, save your money and go somewhere else. Honestly don't see how this place is still in business with that setup.

My husband and I both love and grew up watching Toy Story movies and were so excited to watch the new one with our kids. We had high hopes but it was apparent after the first 20 minutes we were not going to be able to stay. I tried walking with my baby but she began crying and I didn't want to be "those people" so we decided to leave. I was the one year olds first movie and only the second for my 2 year old. I thought it would be worth a shot to ask the manager if they offered any discount or something to try and come back and watch it again, with no real expectations of it being offered because I mean we knew the risk lol. But the manager was so kind and gave us free tickets to return! It was such a sweet and kind gesture and I really appreciated it. We will definitely be loyal customers to this theater from now on

So we were just floating. And then the individuals that came in and paid on site were also assigned seats, which the computer new my seat arrangement and chose to not accommodate for that. Overall a rocky start to our experience. The movie itself was great and the seats were nice aside from the creaking. The sound was also not properly calibrated for the previews and movie itself.

They were just popping a batch and I asked if they would scoop from the top rather than the bottom to reduce "old popcorn" and the abundance of salt that falls to the bottom which she did. Snack prices are so $$ now but being able to get a refill helps. They need to make sure that there is someone for REFILLS so the person getting a refill doesn't have to miss a lot of the movie standing in line.

I didn't realize we had to pick the food up. We thought it was bringing brought to us so they had to remake it well they didn't have to but they did the only thing that I don't recommend is the cheese sauce is pretty gross. The pretzels were nasty. They were hard even though they were fresh. They were not well hotdog is good though, and I was surprised about that popcorn and drinks and the candy. Everything else looks good. Highly recommend that Oreo bites.
