The incision was to be treated daily with a prescriptive antibiotic; the bandage was also needed to be changed and dated daily. He was discharged on 12/31/2025. He was back in the emergency room on 01/01/2026. He was diagnosed with sepsis and MRSA in his incision. He died on 01/05/2026 from this infection. BEWARE if you have any loved ones with a wound in Ridgecrest.

In that time, her wheelchair, which was labeled with her name, was removed from her room. The staff said they'd look for it, but of course couldn't find it. So on her release day, 3/19, they told me it would be delivered 2 days laters. It wasn't and I've called several time leaving unanswered calls in regards to where it is. I was able to speak to social worker once, she stated that it showed still processing. She told me she'd call the rep and call me back that day. I told her she could leave a message if I didn't respond. No call, no messages. I've called several times since and have only been able to leave a voicemail. None have been answered. The way our elderly people are disregarded along with their needs is pathetic. Do better

Nurses are overwhelmed, and CNAs are often absent, even sleeping in their cars. The facility has 24/7 access, making it dangerously unsecured--anyone can enter without question. My mother was a resident here, and on multiple occasions, they neglected her basic care. Once, they forgot to feed her. Despite my efforts, she went unnoticed until a compassionate nurse--who didn't even work their full time--realized she was gone and helped me safely return her and went over the correct policy procedures. Please, if you care about your loved ones, do not place them in this facility.

That really surprised me. You'd expect to be relaxed, rejuvenated & maybe sore after a good massage but I'm not sore at all even after her string hands worked out the sore spots and my earache is gone.
