As for the food we experienced, it was fresh and flavorful and the residents all appeared to be more than satisfied with their meals. My family member also had to participate in the therapy department, each therapist was very involved with each resident and each therapist demonstrated a very strong professional image. Last but not least, the communication I received not only from the clinical team, but as well as management was above and beyond. Would highly recommend Solaris of Daytona Beach to anyone needing this level of care.

The building itself is falling apart--the ceilings, walls, and floors are in terrible shape, and there are bugs everywhere. Worse than the building is the complete lack of care. I watched patients beg for help while the staff ignored them. The employees here show absolutely no empathy or concern for the vulnerable people they are supposed to protect. Do not send your family members here.

Takes the time to know who you are why you are there and your medical history. A very wonderful man. I can honestly say they gave me back some confidence.

In that time, her wheelchair, which was labeled with her name, was removed from her room. The staff said they'd look for it, but of course couldn't find it. So on her release day, 3/19, they told me it would be delivered 2 days laters. It wasn't and I've called several time leaving unanswered calls in regards to where it is. I was able to speak to social worker once, she stated that it showed still processing. She told me she'd call the rep and call me back that day. I told her she could leave a message if I didn't respond. No call, no messages. I've called several times since and have only been able to leave a voicemail. None have been answered. The way our elderly people are disregarded along with their needs is pathetic. Do better

They did not let my dear old dad get away with squat! They push him as far as he could go with a lot of love and support. I overheard a couple of Family members of a different resident complaining about some petty issues. I put some thought into what they were saying and questioned the validity. It occurred to me that there was definitely a difference in the care that my dad was receiving in the ICU wing of the local hospital versus the care at this rehab facility. I recognize the importance of understanding that there is a huge difference in the mission of each facility. For what Port Orange is here for... They are knocking it out of the park. I do not have any suggestions on how to make the place better. Thank you for focusing on your mission.

My mom recently had hundreds of dollars come up missing out of her account. That she has been waiting a month on it to be returned and still hasn't there's not enough nurses on the floor until state comes in and then it's all hands on deck that's when they actually get real food served to them and it's ridiculous if you care for your loved ones look else where for them to stay
